I just love your videos! I tried dyeing my own handspun yarn like this video but used 3 food coloring colors (teal, royal blue, and forest green). It came out quite a bit different from yours with the inside being almost as dark as the outside, the top being quite a bit lighter and getting some dark purple areas on the bottom(?). Wish I could add a picture!
Also, I would 100% support you trying to learn to spin your own yarn so that you would also get into dyeing wool roving XD You just have the best dyeing videos and I'd love to see you dye wool!

How could I do this technique using cotton yarn with fiber reactive dye?

Hi Rebecca. Love this segment. Near the end you showed a brownish gradient. The blue you specified the colours but I’m interested in the colours you used for the other gradient. Could you please tell me what colours were used? Thank you

I believe that I used chestnut for the other color, but I'm not 100% sure if I did a mixture off the top of my head. I started out filming that one but then there was a bit of an "oops" that led to me filming it again with the different color. (I thought the center of the yarn cake popped out.) I still have the other footage and need to edit it for another video. :D

@@ChemKnitsTutorials thank you Rebecca. I don’t think I have that colour but if ever you put the video out with the chestnut colour I’ll be sure to watch it. Thank you fir your reply

@@ChemKnitsTutorials hi Rebecca. I checked again this video. Ok s it possible you used two brown. Like tan and chestnut? Would it be possible to do 3 colours like this? I love gradient yarns.

@@fralou1 no I only used the color chestnut I believe. There's a chance I added some red but I didn't use another brown.

There was just one color used to dye the cake once. You can rewind to dye with another color but I didn't do this here n
