My oshi is Sajam/Brian_F/Jiyuna (they are interchangeable and are the same people).
I attended EVO for a bit, just the first 2 days. Was quite a large amount of Hololive fans there. Saw a few cosplays of Gura, the art stands had a lot of HoloEN prints, And I remember while waiting to try out a few games being developed they played out loud Stellar Stellar (which was dope AF). Didn't expect it, but it was kinda cool.

Dogura was Botan’s teacher and leader during a tournament where V-Tubers and Fighting game players joined in. There were multiple clips of Korone and Botan in that tournament training themselves to be better.

Iirc the hologoods are both from KojiKOG, he attended carrying this while in a gura hoodie.
He had gained interest in the rabbithole when idol showdown came out and tried it. He's been speed running his' descent in the rabbit hole these past months.
He had already planned even before the EVO that he would advertise his' oshi which is Botan,(now he's also a fan of WTM because of ShishiWata) above the stage when he plays and requested Dogura (his' friend who also knows vtuber) to present the hologoods w/ him.

I legit just introduced my friends to hololive in the past couple weeks. Then we had an EVO watch party and got to see this moment, just in time for them to know what's going on.
Watching this, it felt weird to hear the EN VAs for the street fighter characters. After watching alot of the streams and clips of the JP tournament, I'm kinda accustomed to their voices now.
did you know there's a setting to mix and match JP and EN voices for individual characters? lowkey one of my favorite features of SF they've had ever since SF4.
