For anyone wondering, the 6-year-old survived and ended up as a speaker against domestic violence. The baby in the last call, believe it or not, survived the stabbing as the cuts were only superficial and survived the attack, the man in the call saved the poor kid's life by intervening when he did. And yes, the child was taken from their mother, who was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
I have a genuine question, how did the operator know her name, even though Lisa never told the operator her name?

Why was the mom arrested if the dad was brutally beating her?
The guy who shot his daughters FINALLY was caught last year. He has been on the run for years. But to give you more insight they have a documentary online about that family. The father was abusive and he always flirted with his two daughters who was in high school at that time. He would record them on his phone all the time saying really weird and inappropriate things. The father was trying to also marry them off to men in one of those country’s he is originally from. Once he got wind that the two girls had boyfriends (mind you they never did any inappropriate things with the boys and even the family of the oldest girl boyfriend tried to give them a safe place to stay because they heard about the abuse). So once the father found out he told the girls to ride with him somewhere. He tricked them. He pulled over and started shooting the girls for having boyfriends and being too Americanized ultimately murdering them. The girls mother married the father at a young age and she was American, he controlled the mother so her behavior was timid and fearful. She didn’t speak or stand up to her husband much. It’s a sad story
That’s why you never marry old or older men, all are creepers with rejection and insecurities. I bet the mother regretted that awful marriage.

No his culture refuses this kind of things so the girls decide to not follow their culture and they have their rights because they live in America not in Middle East .. and it is legal in most parts of the Middle East if you find out that your wife or your sister or your mother in a relationship without marriage you can kill her and spend just four months

My uncle's name is Eric Harris and received death threats after this tragedy, even though the shooter Eric Harris had killed himself.
i live in Santee where the first call took place. the end of freeway intersection is literally right next to my house. there were so many crashes there and now there’s so many flashing lights and warnings well before the intersection.
That baby girl calling 911 because the stepfather was trying to kill her mom, bless her heart.. 👏👍
More likely beating as in stated by the little girl and not trying to kill but beating her mom

This just shows what 911 dispatchers handle on a regular. They are the angels that send the rest of the angels on our worst days.

The 911 call with the little girl and her parents fighting. Thats the same girl that called 911 saying her brother killed himself. I recognized her crying. Oh my God!! I feel so bad. That girl just must be in so much trauma right now!😭😭😭

The girls who’s father killed them in a taxi, is still on the loose. They are still looking for him and are still asking the public to report if they’ve seen him. As well as have had a number of false sighting.

I never ad childrens i think i always been afraid of responsibilities maybe a little selfish to i don't know.Now that i'm 44 years old its a little to late for me to become father and i have some regrets.My brother as a daughter that is 7 years old and a 4 years old son.Its a joy for me to watch them running around, play and laugh.I think the older you get and the more sensitive you become.The call from that little girl literally broke my heart i hope everything went well for her and her family.
If you listen closely to the columbine one you can hear the shooters shouting "Get Up!" at 9:21 and "Everybody get up now!" 9:32

In jobs like this you have to have a bit of a disconnect to stay sane. If you do not have a home phone then get one so they can find you at home even if you can't speak.

The Jonesboro AR Westside shooting was before Columbine. There were two boys there as well but they were like 12 or something.

The dispatcher may be talking too much for you and that is sad. The dispatcher is doing her job. There are many reasons why this dispatcher did a phenomenal job, and you should feel ad for judging.
The dispatcher asks questions to one get as much info as possible so the police can apprehend and/or stop the criminal(s) while saving as many people as they can. They can’t do that if they don’t ask questions. Plus the fact the longer they keep the caller on the phone the more proof of life they have. And should something happen during the, like with the 6 yr old, it can be used as evidence. The goal of every dispatcher is to keep the caller, who has a real emergency, on the phone as long as possible until the dispatcher can confirm police and/or medical help have arrived. So wtf is your problem?
