We are a couple traveling full-time through out the USA. We live full time in our Heartland Big Country 29.50 5th wheel. Older video's show our adventures when we lived in our truck camper for 5 years. The move up to the 5th wheel has been an exciting move and our life style has changed just a little over the years of being on the road, all for the better! Cool! Just a tip. After hand wringing the clothes hang them up for a bit. Then when clothes are less “soaked” throw them in the dryer to soften them up and finish drying. ❤️

Very cool! Glad it did such a good job. When Scotty said that watching it was more fun than watching TV, a childhood memory popped into my head. I'm 72, so I remember, when in the late 1950s, people we knew began to get dryers. We had next door neighbors who were folks who always were among the people who first bought new gadgets, so they bought a dryer. Their basement window, was right across and just a bit lower than my bedroom window. The houses were close together, so if I looked out my window, I could see into their basement. One evening shortly after they got this new dryer, that had a glass window in the door like yours does. So I look out and there's the whole family, mom, dad, and two kids, all crowded around their dryer, watching the clothes go round and round! 😉 So apparently, Scotty was right, and they found that more entertaining than watching TV! 😁

We have a small washer spinner and absolutely love it!! No crunchy clothes, the breeze makes them soft. And we also have a retracting clothes line hooked to camper..we pull it out and attach to truck to line dry.
Yeah, I wonder why RVers in Arizona or desert areas don't just save their hard-won electrical power and hang everything outdoors to dry. Hey, what brand of small washer did you buy for your RV?
Tricks: When I hang laundry outdoors I always shake out and 'snap' any heavy items (like towels and jeans), while still wet. Makes them much softer once they're dry. 😉

I use a plastic tub and toilet plunger as my washing machine. I use a mop bucket to wring the soapy and the rinse water out. Then I hang on a clithes line.

That’s exactly why I got a stackable washer and dryer for my fifth wheel I got home one day from the laundromat my laundry was full of long strands of blonde hair I have short gray hair

Nice review. That's a cute little dryer. Nice that it actually does the job on a small scale. When I dry my clothes, I don't fully dry them, and hang them on a hanger in the bathroom. If I have a few wrinkles, I use Wrinkle release. Drying takes the life out of fabrics. 🙂👍

Gee that looks awesome. Last month my washer went out on me and with all the clothes pilling up I went and got another one. Real lucky they were on sale so I got another Maytag as they seem to last longer. So far the dryer is hanging in there. But being on the road like you are at least you know your clothes will be clean when you do them yourselves. That dryer will come in real handy. Yes that is a keeper. Even Scotty got excited. Look on CZcams for 5 gallon bucket washer.
All you need is a bucket with a lid and a new plunger. If you get 2 buckets and drill holes in the bottom of 1 you can get more water out.
You have to drill holes in the plunger too.
It works great to go with your new dryer.

You can put a new clean tennis ball in the dryer with the clothes, it will dry a bit faster…you can also buy a ball specifically made for dryers.

I bought a small washer at Walmart for 120.00 that works great.I put it in my tub so I can drain it and fill it with my shower head.I am gonna look into this dryer cause it would be great.
Michelle you are correct I too bought that same washer and my clothes came out way cleaner than any full size Washer. Also wrong so we'll clothes dryer outside in minutes.❤️

Here's a good tip . Roll your wet clothing item in a dry towel and press it with your feet. This will remove alot of water . Then finish drying how you like. This method will save alot of time and energy.

Teri / Scott. There used to be a group about a year ago with a channel called Embracing Changes. He built his own little agitating washer. 5 gallon pail, hole in center of lid. He used a drill and a paint mixing blade. Worked a charm and nothing to buy or carry around extra. Check out their channel. I’m sure they explain it better

In winter this would make your rig damp and may cause mold, nice for spring and summer or areas where its dryer like Arizona ect : ) see why you like it so much neat little machine but it cost more then a regular big dryer wow 517.99 😟glad you got one free it will get lots of use and its cute!

Moo Moo is used to Ausia opening stuff on camera so she's attentive to the details and the product for the Moo approval :) Dry it outside for 10mins and finish it in the dryer to save more power.

Happy Thanksgiving! Cool dryer. I would probably run it outside so as not to have that extra humidity blowing inside. It s hard to see the size but a trip to the laundry mat for bath towels and jeans might be in order. Looks like smaller loads are better. I just love your kitchen!

Thank you for making this video, I plan on getting one of these dryers for my van along with a portable washer and spin dryer and I wanted to see how many watts it uses to determine what type of solar power station to get.
It works great but it does use a bit of power.
When you are ready to dry a pair of jeans, please do a review on that. Small loads looks great, but heavy items could be a bit skeptical. Glad you are doing reviews on products. You are down to earth people and very honest with your opinions. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Teri & Scott - what about of humidity does it put into the 5th wheel? With you not venting to the outside like a dryer does - that would concern me from the mold standpoint.......It is cute and I hope it works for you - if you had some kind of spinner to get a lot more water out of the clothes - that'd be neat.

I also toss my swim trunks and damp towel after hot in my Morus dryer for 15 minutes. Works great. Enjoy.

Even if all you did was socks and underwear and shirts its going to save a lot of laundry runs . If you get one of those small spin washers the only time you would need to go do laundry in town would be for blankets .

Cool! u can dry your clothes while driving down the road ! I kind of like the reviews, they are different and fun and crunchy clothes are from too much soap. Only need a couple drops when washing by hand because its not the volume of water used in w/d measurement.

It will drain that PowerBank with every load. Sadly this isn't gonna work longterm. The powerbank takes hours and hours to refill back to full.
It does take a bit of power but with good solar it works great.

In my Class A rv I hang a clothes line crisscross from several cabinets, turn on a heavy duty floor fan facing upward, clothes tend to dry in a reasonable amount of time or overnight. Also the leftover sudsy water is perfect for 🚽 flushes. However I still randomly use a laundromat as larger items require front loader washer and dryer. I’d be curious as to your thoughts on a portable washer as I’ve been considering such. 🧺

While we don’t have space for one of these, the engineering side of my brain has several thoughts.
In the desert winters this would add heat to your room giving you more value per watt used, it would also add humidity to the air making your heat more efficient since humid air holds heat longer, while it may not be ideal for jeans and towels, it would kick butt on bamboo shirts and basketball shorts. For the heavier weight fabrics perhaps line drying and finishing in the dryer would get rid of the crunchy clothes. Others have suggested an extractor, which I have used occasionally at laundromats, so wearing lightweight, easy dry clothes, using the laundromats for heavy clothing and taking advantage of the physics in the winter makes this a winner. Our van is 60 sq ft and our trailer is 66 sq ft so they would have to make one about 1/4 of the size to fit in our space. But hey, I could dry 5 socks at a time. ( there’s always an odd sock).
There is a relatively inexpensive spinner that only uses 300 w that might make a good partner to this dryer.
