If that Alisson goal had not gone in, it is highly likely the 3 final games from Liverpool and their 2 rivals would have gone differently. No way to know how different, but they would in some or many ways because confidence and morale are major ingredients in a football game. In this case a Godzilla sized shot of confidence and belief for Liverpool, with a deep sense of foreboding for Spurs and added pressure on Chelsea which they weren't expecting.
A little bit funny to see Steven Caulker scored an own goal (7:07) and then in the very next scene, he took part in Lallana's winning goal 😅

That Mellor goal is one of my all-time favorites and always will be, I remember we were massive underdogs and we played so well. The game was on in the early hours of the morning my time and I was gutted that it looked like we'd only take a point after that performance. Then that came out nowhere! Absolute classic

1:52 This started it all for me. First Premier League match I ever got to watch. I was hooked and have been a Liverpool fan ever since. Liverpool utterly dominated this match, but 3 late goals improbably drew Newcastle level, until Fowler's header right at the death. Didn't realize at the time that Kenny Dalglish was Newcastle's manager, that this was Alan Shearer's first season at Newcastle and that Shaka Hislop was in goal for this match.

In 4 years under Brendan Rodgers, we had 2 last-minute winners, one of them an own goal. And I can remember many matches when we used to just run through the motions in a losing cause without really trying. That's been one of the big differences for us after Klopp took over, and the number of last-minute goals in recent times backs it up.
