I need to say something that everybody knew, but.... nobody talk about it. This stick, which is include with action 3/4 adventure it's NOT designed for vloging/traveling. For me its too long (folded), heavy (more heavy then action 4), and legs are not included. Yes, its good for skiing or any other sport.... but not for "walking talking", And ofcourse I have solution. BUY "CYNOVA Osmo Action Mini Tripod" :) designed for Action 1, but its perfect for every sport cam :) Most important think, is silent (I mean, action 4 has really sensitive mics, so I changed my old telesin crackling stick, to this mini tripod ^^). I will be glad, to see half size rod with action 5
I've watched a bunch of your videos since recently buying the dji pocket 2 for vlogging. Now, I wish I had bought the dji action 4 mainly because the pocket cameras are soooo delicate! But... no worries. It's all new to me, so a lot of experimenting. Thanks for all the tips and such great content!

I haven't started vlogging with it yet, but I spent three weeks on a trip to the UK and it was in my hand throughout. I shot a ton of footage. Some of those shots were just gorgeous, and not from anything I did. I'm loving this little camera.
So I've finally jumped in. @MikeFromKorea. Now I just need to figure out how to hit my target of 2 or 3 vlogs per week while keeping up with everything else. Fun times!

QUESTION: Is there a way to moderate the stabilization on this camera? E.g. For some of your handheld vlog shots, the rock-solid stabilization seems to bounce your head around the frame, against that unnecessarily-stable background. Some less-rigid stabilization might keep your face more steady and let the background shift around in a more natural way.

The pic quality is really nice upgrade too. I’m also digging that remote for the 4. Would be great to control recording while on the motorcycle.🤙🏼

Great video…I appreciate that you are talking about vlogging with the Action 4 and then shoot the entire with it showiing it in action (no pun) I have a few vlogs planned for ne5 week and am only going to bring my Action 4 so I film the entire thing with it. So far I am loving it for great audio with an external mic, small size / less obvious, and great stabilized footage. Wide angle / superview without the ugly fish eye effect? I’m sold on that alone. And then audio sounds crisp. Is this all with the built in microphone? (I was typing this throughout watching the video, Nevermind 😅, were you using the external mic the entire video?) Side note, I’m probably biased saying this, but you should make travel vlogs. Berlin is one of my favorite cities in the world. I’ve had some great times in that city. 👍🏻

Dope video! I was thiiiis close to copying it today. I was thinking about getting it as a studio b cam and occasionally for travel / hiking / swimming / city shots. I was never fully satisfied with the action 2 footage although it is so much more subtle as a pov cam (outside). So I guess I’d probably use it mainly for vlogging purposes and creative shots but then there is this voice in my head telling me I should wait for the pocket 3… I don’t know!’ What do you think??
Oh man I can understand that. The action 2 is sooooo good! But it is a bit flat. It’s really missing the dynamic range. But not gonna lie.. I still think his my favorite. Lol 😂
How would you say the Action 4 compares to the Action 2 when it comes to walking shots? I always had these weird shaky step movements in the shot on the action 2 wearing it on the pendant which makes using the footage almost impossible. Is that better on the 4 as a pov cam? @@ItzSKYVlogs

Hey Sky, love the vibe jus like always, but I have to say that the footages you shot with action 4 looks even worse than my action og, usually I limit the iso to be 800 most then full auto with d-cinelike and dewars off, after color grading with my own preset it’ll look amazing. But still, love your video, and you convinced me not buying it lol
From what I noticed is that the reg pp seems to be a bit artificially enhanced… while the log is more natural. I have a few clips for testing my lut if you want me to send them to you.

yo man, your thoughts on the insta360 or Telesin Monkey Tail? I personally think it is the best and only accessory you really need for vlogging as you can mount it almost everywhere and either use it as a Neck mount, selfie stick, etc…
Yes the monkey tail is incredible. I recently shot one of my best videos with it, it can literally be mounted anywhere. There's a 1/4 screw in the bottom of it too, so if needed you can attach it to other accessories
Hi! I recently got a ball joint mount for my Action4 and i feel it a little bit "shaky" comparing with the mounts that come with the Action4 itself. I meant to use this joint mount instead of a regular 1/4" ball mount on my mini tripod for handling the camera an placing it anywhere (i got the camera in a cage with double attach), but i noticed a little play between the camera and the mount, maybe because there is no rubber patch on it so i'm unsure if it's good for walking/trekking. Maybe the correct usage is static, as stated in the leaflet. What are your feelings?
Oh man are you using the action 2 Mount? I actually don’t have play with mine but I do have play with some other action 2 mounts when using the action 4 for them
@@ItzSKYVlogs Well, there's more play than the dedicated Action 4 mount, but given that it should be used statically as you do in your video, this should be no problem. The problem it's me trying to use it while moving and walking 😅

Yoooo!!!!! Yea the taking off the lens cap works.. but there’s a shutter setting that works well.
In the exposure menu, tap at the top left and set the shutter range to : 1/100 -1/8000 or 1/200-1/8000

Hi! I recently got a ball joint mount for my Action4 and i feel it a little bit "shaky" comparing with the mounts that come with the Action4 itself. I meant to use this joint mount instead of a regular 1/4" ball mount on my mini tripod for handling the camera an placing it anywhere (i got the camera in a cage with double attach), but i noticed a little play between the camera and the mount, maybe because there is no rubber patch on it so i'm unsure if it's good for walking/trekking. Maybe the correct usage is static, as stated in the leaflet. What are your feelings?

I actually don’t have play with mine but I do have play with some other action 2 mounts when using the action 4 for them
@@ItzSKYVlogs Well, there's more play than the dedicated Action 4 mount, but given that it should be used statically as you do in your video, this should be no problem. The problem it's me trying to use it while moving and walking 😅

Naaa not all the footage. Basically with log? You can throw a lut in an adjustment layer. And put it over all your footage and bam.. you good!
