Great tutorial, there is a difference
Thank you.
Thank you for sharing😊
They are both CMYK as a printer cannot print RGB. RGB is the display device colours. Your computer decodes from RGB to CMYK.
If you import into Krita and change the colours to CMYK the display will try to match (but not always correctly) the expected print.
They look pretty much the same to me.
Is my first time, but I have a question what is CMYK THANK YOU!
Did you use a specific ice when you printed?
Thanks so much for doing this. It helps to see it. I am leaning towards the CMYK only because that should match more closely to our screen and what we show to a customer, right? One more question..what do you use for the US part of the settings when choosing CMYK. I received an alert when I tried to use it after I set it to CMYK. I hope this question makes sense.
If you got an out of gamut error this will be because your colours are displaying in RGB but you are trying to print in CMYK and the error is telling you to ajust the colours (the ones out of gamut) what you are seeing is not what youll get.
Try an image with faded blues, in rgb they will look pastel but when printed will print a light brown.
CMYK is darker
RGB is oversaturated. Ya looks like it "pops" more but look at the gradient on the skin. Looks more "natural" on CMYK. CMYK looks more accurate.
you can't print in RGB because your printer will always print in CMYK. The difference is in the how the printer software converts a RGB file to a print and that is where minute differences can occur...
This is correct. They are both CMYK
RGB is oversaturated. CMYK is more accurate. Look at the gradients on her skin. It's more "natural".
