When Nike took over for Majestic in MLB jersey manufacturing three years ago, prices went up across the board so don't be surprised if a blank retail authentic (assuming those will still be made) that's currently $180 USD is suddenly $250 or more after Fanatics takes over. As always, look for deals and coupons and never pay retail if you can help it.
I usually NEVER pay retail for the jerseys. It’s just not worth

Hey man, it's been a while, I do hope they can improve with the quality and most importantly take notes from what the fans want and look at feedback more in depth in the Public Relations Department, it really makes the difference between a average and a great company. I'm no optimist at all, the hardest part about contracts is the inevitable end of it and the unknown when it ends, I just wish the best for jersey collectors and enthusiasts like you who look at the designs, and apparel from an artistic detailed standpoint. By the way I have been liking the new videos and keep up the great work as always.
I'm not expecting much from Fanatics considering its track record but if this company makes retail authentics that more closely resemble the on-ice product in both appearance and quality, I'll consider it a win. But I fear we'll get a sh-tshow from Fanatics.

Fanatics won't be satisfied until they get their hands on every single segment of the market.
I think everyone is overreacting and prematurely worrying. Fanatics makes a cheaper jersey now because that's the market that is open for them. I'm sure once adidas is gone, and the market opens up for higher quality jerseys, fanatics will step in and produce the same type of jersey that we have been used to from adidas. I'm not going to start panicking yet, I'll wait and see what the future brings first.
