I grabbed 3 more adidas jerseys during these playoffs... an Ovechkin home, Couturier home, and a Drysdale Alternate.. all hand stitched as I was unsure what Fanatics would be doing. Got them all on sale as well and glad I did, I have no faith in Fanatics until they prove otherwise for jerseys.. hats are fine. We shall see soon enough.

It’s because it’s made of a different material vs the Indos. Same thing as the adidas jerseys, the Indos vs the Mic are totally different, fanatics is still using the same materials and manufacturing as adidas.
It won't be any different than before. If you buy from the team store, your product will be stained with that ugly junk. If you get it anywhere else, it will look like it's supposed to. Clean and classy.

That’s because the perforated holes are trademarked by adidas and they won’t let Fanatics use them without paying a licensing fee

I have both home & away prime green Capitals jerseys & the crest definitely does look like the prime green crests. No dimples on the shoulders.

It appears the size tag/made in Canada tag is heat sealed instead of stitched. If so, that’s terrible.
I was initially disappointed by that too. But someone that already has one, said it appeared to be stitched on.
