If there is not backstory in internet, I have my fan backstory,if u agree Owo For short: after they kick bill out of their reality (I know they killed him but I don't think he died) he was trying to find another universe, where he could take his powers back and suddenly he found Genocide timeline and quietly looked at fight in judgment hall. He was surprised how that smol skeleton had that much power and when he get slashed, he had idea. When chara/frisk/player leaved judgment hall, Sans still was not dead (bill helped from distance) and when he come out and asked about deal. (He read his mind, what actually happened to him) Bill said that we will make resets stop and he won't suffer anymore. Sans felt his strong aura and got that he actually could do that. And he agreed withouth thinking. And like in episode where bill possessed Dipper, he possessed Snas and there was not real person ghost (I mean when bill possessed Dipper, Dipper was like a ghost, but Sans is a monster so he can't do that, their souls are fragile).
