Honestly, i would have dropped this run like on caves 2 with this shit damage. He managed to live till damn Cathedral. NL got some serious skills and patience.

The first time I beat hush, I remember my run was just horrible, but I had two items to carry me through the whole run: gnawed leaf and dry baby. I sat there for about 3 years, but eventually, ended up snagging the victory and died in the first room of the next floor.
You know he's gone insane when he interrupts himself from saying "Dry Baby" to say "Dry Baby".
