The most awesome thing? Other modelers have seen these, put them together, disassembled and mailed to you, Wayne. Shows how the community stands together.
I’d love to build that Batmobile. It’s by far my favorite of all the Batmobiles. Absolutely iconic
Wayne, I heard you say “all of this is metal” and that sold it to me!!!! Hurry up Altaya, we need this, Gotham need this!!!
I have been waiting for this to be a build for 5 years now! I Really hope they make this a full build. I would Definitely subscribe to it! This is absolutely my favorite Batmobile.
I will now only see the smiley face when I think of this car. 🙂
This model is going to look fantastic, I think. Great video, Wayne, as always. Thanks for sharing.
I want this partwork model so bad. It's my most favorite version of the Batmobile!!
YRS, YES, YES! Please release this model. I must have it.
Please please Altaya put out this build. If there's any car I would want/get it's this one. This is my ideal batmobile out of all the designes that exist.
I would be alllllll over this like a rash! I’ve got the 1989 Lego Batmobile and this would sit alongside it perfectly! I pray that this happens
I’d make this to complement the tumbler build - very cool!
I can't even bring myself to watch the whole video because I want this so bad. Please please please bring this to the U.K.
Aaww poop. I've started the tumbler build. If I knew this was coming I would have waited 😭😭
The detail on this looks amazing...that has always been my favorite Batmobile. We never have gotten the Tumbler here in the States either. I guess all that would be left would be the Robert Pattison Batmobile, which I absolutely loved.
Now this is a build I think I could make room to display on the boat. I'd get this one myself if it came out in Britain.
My favorite Batmobile. I really hope this comes out. I was just thinking when they released the 66 Batmobile they should really do the 89.!thanks for the video!
Great video! First time Wayne DOESN'T oil M screws? 😂
This is Money in the Bank for Altaya! My wallet is hoping it takes 12 months for pre-orders. Thanks for sharing, Wayne!
I hope they release it internationally.
in my opinion best looking batmobile. currently building the tumbler and this would look great beside it.
Holy rusted metal, Batman! After the fiasco of the Ecto-1 build, I swore I'd never do another partwork build. But if this ever becomes available in the US, I'd be sorely tempted to sign up for this beauty.
This would have been a good addition to the 60's and the 2000's batman cars
You've really added to the realism on this build. Bruce Wayne had to get parts produced and shipped through multiple locations as well. 😉 Thanks for the build share.
this looks a very detailed motor, this is a fascinating build
Excelent build!!! Loving the birds as background!!! I think it was a plus for the video!!!
Bonus if they were Robins 🤣
I need this…Fanhome…I’m looking at you!!
Yes, please release this in the UK
Great Video Wayne.
Please Altaya release this in the UK!
Altaya definitely needs to come out with this build because I would love to build this batmobile. Looks awesome do far. Enjoy your weekend Wayne
This is the Batmobile I want. I like the Tumbler and the 60s Batmobile but this is peak Batmobile design.
@@Trikeboy2 Anton Furst knocked it out of the park with his design. I love this ALMOST more than the '66!
It's because it's just such an iconic design. It's just plausible enough, neither realistic nor cartoony. Combine it with Michael Keaton's Batman. Then have it serve as the inspiration for the Batmobile in the iconic Animated Series. And that's why it's so beloved.
Probably not a popular opinion, but I'd love to see a Batfleck Batmobile build. Love how that one looks.
It really does look so great, and they need to release this as a full build. I burnt my hands a bit on that giant tire as well as blurted out a curse.
It was really hysterical !!!! Sorry pit !!! 😓💞😂😂😂😂😂
@eddywells5689 it cracked me up when I rewatched the footage and no way I was going to resort that part....LOL
@@PitstainHobbies That was painful to see, I watched your build of this, thoroughly enjoy your videos! 👍
@@theduel007 glad you enjoyed me playing hot potato, no permanent damage done thankfully.
I need that build in my life !
When this gets released this will certainly impact the wallet 😂
Looking at the other builds on the Altaya website, it looks like Fanhome would be the UK distributor.
The 89 Batmobile is the greatest one of them all you would have thought that would’ve been the first one to be made lol
I am so hoping for a UK release. Please release this.
Looks awesome
I hope they do release this world wide (specifically in the uk). When Eaglemoss advertised the 1966 Batmobile I emailed asking if they would do this version as well. I the. Emailed FanHone and ask them when they took over the 1966 version. The 1989 Batmobile looks soo cool. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I’ve been wanting the Tumbler from Hatchette Partworks but not available in the U.S. yet. Now I want this too!
I wait with great anticipation like when you are waiting for payday
We should have this all over the world since we have the batmobel from the batman tv show and the bat tumbler it would be cool to have this one in the batmobel collection
Oh man…looks like I’ll be adding a fifth subscription to fanhome if they do release this.
I’m going to have to get another job.😂
That looks awesome Wayne, and yes that dashboard looks fantastic. I wonder if it will have the pop up machine guns, and if they do an extended like the delorean maybe that steel cocoon that drops that bomb.
😮
This will look absolutely amazing next to the 66 and the Tumbler if this does make a release it will be through fanhome
SIGN ME UP ALTAYA!!!
Okay nice build now take it all part and pass it on!😅
Looks good, would be really interesting to get it. Altaya seems to be a French derivative of DeAgostini.
I can imagine this being a dream partwork, but being at 1/8th and taking a guess at the possible price point, you could get a 1/6th version cheaper!
However, you don't get to build those... currently building the Large UCS Lego version of this car to go with all the other 89's in my collection. Do I need another...erm yes, I think I do.
Fingers crossed for a release of this.
I got to watch this build
yes yes yes
This to me is the best Batmobile. Hurry up to the UK 😂
I do hope that they redesign the front turbine. The way it sits now, the engine (it's pretty much an F-14 Tomcat engine) won't roll out the front like it should (as was shown in Batman Returns after The Penguin had his way with it).
I want this build really bad
looks awsome.. i thought fanhome would release this🦇 all metal good quality
Oh, great! Another one to crave here in the U.S. I joke, of course. Not about the craving....pessimistic about availability outside of France. Hmmm...looking at airline tickets....
One certain way for Altaya to be aware of demand for the model would be for all interested parties to request their own trial model instead of rebuilding someone else's already built portion.
Trying to get hold of this was like gold dust
I'm surprised with all the building and disassembling that nothing got broken and/or lost in its world travels. I can see Chloe at Model Modz and Mike Lane making a monitor screen mod this this right off if it comes to full release.
Altaya, Deagostini, Fanhome...this is LITERALLY money in your pockets. Yes, you're doing the 69 Batmobile, and you have the Tumbler (which, despite what Mr. Fox might say, we in the US are DEFINITELY interested in that)...but this one is just amazing. Personally, for me, this is my #1 Batmobile of ALL of them. So, you're leaving money on the table if you don't make this a worldwide run.
While you're at it, can you also release the Megazord worldwide? Power Rangers in America was, in its time, as big as Ninja Turtles. So many of us actually HAD the Megazord toy, and would chomp at the bit for that model. So...make it happen.
But yeah. This one? You NEED to run this.
Looks awesome. Would love to build this.
Started laughing when I saw that saucepan. Exactly how I would do it.
Please please release this other than the Batmodile from Batman Forever which I have in 1/18 scale I'd absolutely love this
Would be a nice build if they wasn’t all over the place !
Ooo 1/8 scale? This might work for mcfarlene figures
Per favore. Portatelo in Italia 🥹😍
It’s not the first time a build has only been under altaya. There’s a full build in France I want but fanhome doesn’t know if they’re going to get it.
2:14 look like someone got excited over this magazine.
Lol
The wheel in in there backwards, but its all good. The rim ring gets attached on the inside of the wheel.
Doh
@@WorldofWayneUK Wayne makes mistakes so we don't have to!
Another modeller I follow Chris Falcon is doing Atalya Power Rangers Megazord at the moment.
If it's only released in France then you can easily use a mail redirect to elsewhere in the world postage will be a little more but from my experience it's worth it. As for French instructions they are pretty basic and easy to understand.
It's not released anywhere. It's just a trial unfortunately
@@WorldofWayneUK Partworks in Europe tend to get released eventually mainly in France and Germany to a lesser extent Spain and Italy. If Batman 89 does get released my concern is it will be a digital booklet there is a worry among some that the printed brochure will be replaced with a digital PDF like the upcoming re-issue of Build the Power Rangers Megazord.
I think instead of a clear acrylic case they should make it the shield it deploys
I want this but for my wallet I hope when it is released in the U.S. (I believe it will be) it’s toward the end of the 66 Batmobile so it won’t effect my budget, and less chance of it still being available when I do finish the 66
Its odd how the various Batmobiles are split across different countries and companies. Does make one hope they all make it to the US
No way that display case will end up being a "Free" gift in the final build, annoying as I'll need it lol!
I'm Wayne, not Bruce Wayne...For a Star Trek reference: "There are 5 lights!" " There are 4 lights!" I hope you liked the laugh.
The BTTF Delorean playlist is missing from the channel. Could you please remake it? The vids are still up, but the only playlist is the 11 video fanhome one...
just when i think im out, they drag me back in...
Will you be taking it apart and sending to someone else to put together
ALTAYA 1889 BATMOBILE BRING IT OUT IN UK
Bad continuity there Wayne, you revealed the Shark build last night but have it covered again!
Oh! And I can understand a wee bit of French...well, High School level....umm, a few decades ago BUT? Reading is easier than hearing, sometimes... I'm slow.
The logo for Altaya and Deagostini are almost identical. Likely the same company.
They are
@@WorldofWayneUK So how many companies fall under that umbrella?
By the look of the turbine why you are building it Wayne.. It looks 1.6 scale 😊

Nice nose cone my wife has one of those 🤭
Hi Wayne I'm just wondering if it would be possible to submit Emgo316 for the 89 batmobile trial endorsement?
I'm tempted to make a joke about the set being passed around like a French lady, but who gets final possession? did you pass her down the line?
Im the last on the line lol. what does that make me? Lol
No more space for models so forced into building retirement. I'm building this when it drops in UK regardless!!
Well, they have already failed at the dash. Nothing but an exact copy of the 1:6th scale hot toys 89. It's a mix of the 89 and the 92 dash panels as well as Duplicate/wrong gauges. Can't wait to see what else they butcher on it.
I assume the body work is plain ol’ matt black. Shame if it is
Not sure about this, did you place the bat symbol on the wrong side of the tyre as it was on the screw side showing, plus the batmobile isn't black, it has a hint of green in the original 1989 film. Unfortunately this looks like a bigger hot Wheels version. Still I do hope the builders out there get the opportunity to build and own the most glorious batmobile ever.
I did lol
I stopped using oil on these black metal builds. The matt surface of the metal has a capiliary effect on the oil and will drag it out into pools of oil that go far beyond where the screws were placed. It's a really messy clean up :(
Not ANOTHER bat mobile
What? Not even one “THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!” joke ?
how in the hell do they expect for us to buy this and they cant even have parts on hand for past projects, i have been working on ghostbusters for going on 3 years because they cant get parts , and now they have this , really people think twice before buying
JAZZINC dash still has way better detail..
That's a 1/6 scale
Sorry but the Tumbler looks RUBBISH compared to this one!
Great kit but I have no idea how this company can stay in business with such an absurd business plan. Do you have any idea what they've already spent to do the design, the CAD models, the manufacture of the molds, the painting, the pre-assembly of some parts, design of the magazines, and the initial run??? We're talking millions of dollars easily. And then to release a 'trial' in one location with no website???? Seriously? Bizarre, to say the least.
Licensing restrictions may have a lot to do with it as well.
@@kbruns33 Right, they had to pay for licensing as well. Doesn’t this make their business plan worse?
@@KenToonz No it only means that there are costs and terms/restrictions to license agreements. And just because they have a license to produce and ship to one country doesn't mean they have the right to ship to others, even if they want them.
That being said the parent company is over 100 years old and reported over 4 billion in annual revenue last year so.... they'll probably be ok.
From what I understand, Altaya is owned by Diagostini. Know who else is owned by Diagostini? Fanhome! I sent them a support message today, and they've passed the request up. Everyone in the States should put in a support ticket requesting this. They'll see the demand and won't want to leave money on the table!
DeAgostini builds all of them...
They own the main plants in China...
It's all in the same factory building...
I've seen the photos my friend took inside the factory...
Agora Models and IXO use the same building for their models that's why they can ship you replacement parts for other companies builds...
Building IXO models i received Agora parts...
Or Fanhome parts...
It's all owned by one company...
That's why IXO now has the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing as a complete kit in red...
Same as Agora Models one ...
I've talked with Deagostini and Agora Models and they said they swap parts all the time because it is coming from the same place...lol
One of our HTM viewers Brad B. was able to get his hands on this from France to Missouri in the US. He then sent it to me, and I sent it to you. A whole second collection of the parts went to Jordan @Aligning_The_Stars who then sent his on to Ian (@PitstainHobbies). We have all loved every bit of this build and really want to see it go to full run!
That cockpit is a modded heaven
