Ahh… I wonder who he learned that from.
Me
Tom Clements, the same QB coach who’d also groomed Rodgers during the earlier stages of his career.
@@rokrok60EXACTLY!! 💯
@@rokrok60 I was thinking Aaron Rodgers himself but yeah, that works too.
@@rokrok60 this came from Brett to Aaron to Jordan. Aaron also has a couple clips making these types of throws when he was at Cal
Rodgers-sensei hooked my man up with the dark arts
This play was fucking gorgeous
Clements is a true QB developer. I hope somebody’s been paying attention because that man is 70 and he might just want to go sit on the couch soon.
Facts!
Facts he already retired once before Aaron pressured him to comeback
@@Kingcometrim One of Aaron Rodgers greatest gifts to Jordan Love and the Packers in his later years was to bring Tom Clements back. What a difference he is making for Jordan Love's development. Also, I noticed this off season, the Packers brought in a promising young assistant QB coach, to whom Tom Clements will hopefully be able to teach the tricks of the trade!
Rogers was his mentor
He has a sneaky great arm with a strong release from his wrist. I am so excited to see Love the rest of his career. From Favre to Rodgers and now Love. Go Pack Go!
It just goes to show you. He is now ready to start. Regardless of how excited people are for rookie qb's, nothing can replace sitting for 2-4 years learning from a great and the guy who taught him. Sure he has less time left of his prime, but he is ready to make an instant impact and go win games.
Thing is though, QBs have a longer prime so a few years at thr beginning isnt a big deal.
If he’s gonna win games consistently he needs to start completing more than 55% of his passes.
aged like close dated milk
@@willchoice7681 it damn sure did.
Oooof
They interviewed Reed, he said it was a no look and Love has been doing it every once in a while during practice
Tom Clements, the QB Coach that mentored Aaron Rodgers early in his career teaches this...
Where did you hear that he teaches this? Because Aaron Rodgers does it and his coach was Tom Clements?
@@Viking_367If you watch a lot of Rodgers interviews there’s 2 guys who get massive props for teaching him different techniques and fixing his form, Tom Clements and Alex Van Pelt. Last year or the year before they brought back Clements and they should definitely consider finding a way to get AVP back with the way rodgers praised him
@@Viking_367 Because Favre did it, Rodgers does it, Flynn did it, Hundley did it, Benkurt did it, and Love does it. What do all of them have in common? Same QB coach.
@@geoffreysorkin5774 no.. you can easily find film of Favre making these all rotation lower arm angle throws in the 90s. QB coaches don’t coach particular throwing styles. Tom and Mike both helped Aaron lower his ball carriage and sequence his body to be hips, shoulder, arm, ball.. very basic sequencing taught to every QB in the NFL.. why don’t other QBs across the league throw like this?? No QB coach is going to coach you to throw the ball stepping away from your target side armed or with your feet off the ground ever. QB coaches teach eye discipline, footwork, pocket movement, recognition, how to transition footwork in situations to take you through your reads, basic balance. All of which was an integral part of Aaron and Jordan’s successful growth. I played QB in college and also coached QBs in college. no one is going to teach you a specific style of throwing ever. But even with all this it doesn’t matter because Aaron Rodgers openly said he learned his unorthodox throwing skill set directly from watching Brett. Talked about specifics as well with Chris Simms in an interview on a golf course
Tom Clements would be retired if the Bears hadn't hired Luke Getsy, people don't talk about this enough
He learned alot from a great sensei in ARod
💪🏾
Tom Clements**
Tom Clements, AR12 helped refine, but Tom Clements taught them both
Justin Fields: "wait. You can do that?"
JF might not be able to but we may never find out if he don't have all day to throw the ball, not in Chicago anyway. He ceratinly flung the rock with better support around him. But he needs to be faster in his reads and be able to read leverage of the defender and get the ball out. He failed at that in that game. Better hope he doesn't figure it out.
Look at how much time he has to throw with lol look how clean that pocket is with a bad offensive line I would take fields any day just because of his ability to escape the pocket an make a play Jordan love didn't do any thing special there was a lot of broken plays that was just a bad performance by the defense plus fields was playing down most of the game so he was force to make plays Jordan love hasn't felt that kind of pressure
@@anthonyvega3992 JF's second game was even worse. At some point you just have to say you are what your record and your stats say you are.
@@anthonyvega3992fields has the most time to throw in the league. For 2 years now lmfao.
@@tclott316 what stat have you been watching or looking at because that's not true at all should check your eyes 🤣 people should just let this play out people can say what ever they wants fields is like I want all the smoke
Gotta love the sound effects 😄
Woooommph!
As a huge sports fan I love watching tape and seeing if a guy is succeeding because he has good technique, makes smart decisions and executes properly, like in boxing, you can see when a fighter wins because of his superior skills, habits, fundamentals, IQ (Inoue, Crawford) or if he has a limited skill set and faces competition where that’s enough to win. Jordan Love is showing that he has tendencies and skills that will help him succeed against greater competition, yes he still needs to refine and perfect them but he’s got a great foundation in place, that’s what sitting behind Rodgers allowed him to build, a foundation on which to build success, NFL is a copycat league yet that’s one thing that’s been successful quite a few times (Mahomes, Rodgers, Young, Brady, Rivers, Eli Manning, Brees, Palmer, Jim Kelly) yet almost nobody else tries it anymore because they’re too impatient, no guarantees Love is gonna be great but the tape seems to show that it’s far more likely he will
Under rated qb
I love every moment from this whole offense. Love is spinning out there!
Headline: Love Charge With Shoulder Effing In Chicago
LOL “shoulder effing” haha.
Literally laughed out loud. Love it.
if he looked it would’ve been on the money …. that’s how accurate he is … it still hit his chest without looking ….
amazing jordan love
As a GB fan im a little surprised right now but im excited @ the same time !!
As a Bears fan, I approve this message.
Jordan Love, Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, Bart Start, Lynn Dickey. Green Bay, They've been blessed.
On the other hand, Mitch Trubisky, Justin Fields, Rex Grossman, Cade McNown, Jim Harbaugh, all highly rated and drafted and none did a damn thing in Chicago. Its like a curse.
Watch for Caleb Williams become trade bait in about 4 years.
You'll see.
1985 seems like eons ago.
Utah state!!! Watched him ball from the student section
Good rep…he has all day to throw BUT that most likely means the defense has extra guys in coverage…to manipulate a defense with eyes is a good skill to have…not a Packer fan but Love looks huge
They can't keep getting away with this!!!
I know right? He drew a big penis on bears #49 😮
The Rodgers effect is real. Man I’m trying to temper expectations but JLove is our guy. Let’s just not give him too much crap for bad games. Even HOF QBs have those. Nobody’s perfect
tom clements man. best qb developer we've seen
Meanwhile Justin Fields is sitting on the bench still staring down Cole Kmet.
super awesome. you know what would better. winning the freaking game.
I did something like that in pop Warner except my number 1 target at the time brought it back to the apartments
now i know what those helmet stripes are for..
Jordan's looking great it be crazy if he gets packers too the Superbowl
This has been done forever. Jim Kelly was famous for it. I see there’s LOTS of new football fans in this comment thread lol
People never want to give Rodgers credit just because they don’t like him anymore. I swear there are wayyy too many people who care way too much about others and don’t even care about their own life. it’s clear Jordan learned a lot from Rodgers so stop crying and trying so hard to discredit him just teaching him basic things. Too many sensitive little girls on the internet
I think he will be something
Say what you want about Rodgers, he took this guy under his wing and taught him a lot. Whatever happened between him and the management clearly did not transfer to his relationship with #10. These guys are close.
First and last time Jordan Love made a nice play.
But they won super bowl Champs get out of here
He is looking he is just keeping his head straight down the field to keep that linebacker honest
Love it❤
This aged like milk
Eyes don't only work in a straight line
Go Pack Go
tfw stafford did this shi* all the time in detroit but never got credit til he went to LA
Good read
Def shoulder fulking going on
Well that easy when you have enough time to stand back there and have a cup of coffee.. they had one-lineman looking for work every play.
He will improve on his quick release next season!!!
Another thing of beauty is his footwork!
It's funny that they removed this play from the call sheet
Honestly we all do that .. when I was QB that was the way to fake the defender.. I mean I just thought its a natural thing to do but I guess I was just special 😂💪🏽
So, they always used to say that a QB needs at least two seasons as a backup to really be ready to start in the NFL.
Nowadays they wanna throw the first rounders right out there and expect them to look like a seasoned pro.
Absolutely beautiful
The hips are always typically the key to direction! That’s why the special QBs rock, back foot, off balance, cross body, side arm… you can’t predict where they are going! Unless they get stupid and throw only to one or two guys & ignore the rest. Then, double those and blitz! Ask Rodgers! It’s been his issue for 8 years now!!
I wasnt a startingg qb or anything in hs i actually wrestled 4 years tho and have pretty good peripheral vison(likely mispelled the hell out of that) and have shown some high schoolers that its not impossible to make accurate no look passes soley with peripherals. A moving target 15 yards away tho thats pretty impressive cuz thats a timing thing
my man you misspelled the word misspell..lol
@@SuperPackerBOY im not a spelling bee champion for a reason
I put money on dude for MVP back in August while in Vegas. His odds were too good to pass up with his situation.
More about the arm for me. At no point in the delivery does he give away where he's going with it until the ball is out.
Something Purdy can't do. Lol man this young man is going to make watching them play the Cowboys a fun game to watch.
Now we just need to see that CONSISTENTLY
So good I thought it was deflected at first!
That's not tracking, that's baiting #49.
That's serious 💯👏
Salty bears fans in the comments 💀
That pass was a no look confident i know my receiver gonna adjust to this pass
Lets gooo!!
They all learn from Brett favre 😂😂😂
Even Mahomes. Mahomes looks like favre out there playing.
@@carlosbaldwin7980 I’m happy to see that people are starting to give Brett Favre credit for some of the things he did. He also was the first QB to ever offset his weight and use physics as a method to throw the ball, as opposed to basic QB fundamentals. I saw an interview years ago where Rodgers talked about learning from Brett how to apply pressure into the ground with his legs in different ways to make some of those ‘unorthodox’ throws. There was actually a method to the madness.
He still stealing from the poor?
@@carlosbaldwin7980Mahomes looks like Mahomes
@@Judahscattered4corners-ms4lm no m.f. Mahomes Rodgers et etc looks like favre when they play. That’s who they get there game from . The crazy side arm throws . The back yard foot ball style of play that’s all favre buddy 🤷🏿.
No quite a no look but very disciplined. Don't think he'll be another Rodgers but he'll have similar success with that team/game plan
Tom Clements is the real goat
He watched 👀 his target crossing
i watched 49 cover grass for the last 4 years 🤢
That’s why it was slightly behind.
Go pack go we don't need arod
J.LOVE IS THE GUY!!!!!!!!?💪💪
Wow o😮😮😮❤❤
he had one good game... before the bottom falls out..
I know that's what you're praying for.
Nice ball
Holy shit..I think. He might be good. Fuck. Another rough 15 years for my Bears in bound. GG’s Green Bay.
Wanna pull his pants up after y’all done glazing?💀💀😂
Let's give him time
He learn from one of the best I just hate that Aaron Rodgers took those check$ in the playoffs to lose.
Them checks🕵💰 was probably big as hell lol.🤔
Ahhh now I see why Rodgers left this guy actually might be good.
They don’t teach this in Chicago obviously😭 they never had sb throw for over 4,000 or 30td’s to Chicago this is rocket science😭
What did his last pass this year look like?
Isn’t this week 1?
Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Save that shit for somewhere else.
@@TheQBSchoolbro has hundreds of comments but is scared of Jesus lmaooo
@@philsphilly some people just don't want to get the bible forced down they throat bro maybe he don't believe in it and thats fine
49 is Edmunds he’s pretty good 😂
If he keeps that up he will be the next Patrick mahomes ❤
Aaron did this all the time
Nice play, good breakdown
and rodgers learned from brett. so many no look passers before little patty mahomes
He does have a cool style to his throws, like he doesn't have to be lined up with his target, contourts his whole body, and has a kind of fluidity that's almost Mahomes-esk.
Rodgers-esque
@@StraightUpTaylorGang no way, rodgers is great but much stiffer than this guy.
@@tommywolmart265 Not back in the day
@@tommywolmart265 you need to watch some more film and watch it in slow motion if you need to see the insane amount of movement Rodgers achieves in his motion. No one comes close to achieving some of the things he does with his body. Tom House ( Brady’s QB coach) stated that the human eye isn’t capable of seeing the movement that occurs in elite throwers, strikers, batters, pitchers. High speed cameras are used to asses kinematic efficiency/ sequencing.
Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre are well known for throwing off their back foot or with their feet off the ground and without ever having to line up their bodies because they know how to manipulate their weight in different ways to shoot the ball out of their hands with minimal wastes movement. It’s an art form.
Watch some highlights from his 2nd to last year in college. Dude is a baller.
He’s promising. I was wrong about him
Where’s all the jordan love apologies at?
I like how no one gives Brett Farve credit for Aaron’s success but now that Jordan Love isn’t a bust like everyone wanted him to be they just give all the credit to Rodgers.
All I've ever seen is people praising JL. Not once have I seen anyone saying he is a bust. Sounds like you people create these boogeyman in your imagination in order to fuel this idea that he is some kind of superstar. Fact is, the BFL has manipulated the game in a multitude of ways to ve able to exalt any player as a superstar through stats abd narrative and explemlifying highlights. . The majority of JLs games he has played like trash.
How can you possibly know that this is a no look pass??? You're looking at the back of his head which is his helmet...
Smh....maybe u should put down the tablet and pick up a book. Not the brightest huh?
@@packers12to80 hmm I leave a comment for him but his girlfriend steps in to defend him. Tablet, book, brightest what the heck does that even mean , oh I get it you're trying to show that boyfriend and girlfriend are both stupid. Gotcha.
Also holding on the play 😂way to expose gbs LT
A better throw the receiver is still running for a td still good job tho go pack go
Edmonds should of stayed discipline in his drop..it's 3 and 11
Packers won the trade for sure
I was tight as hell he took that check in that Seahawks Nfc championship 2013-2014 season
I was popping mad shit in the yard until them mfs came back under 4 mins 👀lol
