This is why the saints couldn't win a single playoff game under mora: mora was way too conservative, play calling was terrible, defense was not aggressive enough, and QB play was atrocious

Such great memories! I remember watching this game at my childhood home and I was on cloud nine when the Falcons came back to win! That interception at the end was simply legendary too! I still think that it was NOT a forward lateral. Give the Fish man his touchdown already! ;)

At 3:50 you'll see the defender, Quinn Early, try to tackle Deion Sanders, but if you look closely you'll see he's wearing two different jersey numbers. He has 89 on the front and 68 on the back.

@@lewiyonas3255 Its a 68, that was his backup jersey that was printed wrong (68 is an upside down 89). You can see earlier in the game hes got the correct jersey on.

Saints been getting robbed on calls since the beginning of time
They don't do that in the NFL anymore, with teams atually trying to score defensive touchdowns with lateral plays...it was fun back in the late 80s early 90s....todays game is much more conservative in that regard where if a team gets a fumble they usually just fall on it or with an interception they just run out of bounds...but you never see laterals like that unless it's the end of the game as a last resort
