URBAN MTB FREERIDE AND NEW BIKE PARTS!

- I fitted some new bike parts then went for an urban MTB freeride session around my hometown with Lewi Pilgrim followed by some wake surfing in my new boat!
After destroying my rear wheel in the MTB drift modification video I was lucky enough to be given some more wheels by HALO so I went ahead and fitted them before going out around my hometown of Colchester in Essex for an Urban MTB freeride session searching for as many cool things to ride as possible! Me and Lewi were both on our Haibike Electric bikes and this makes it super easy to get around and hit different features! After the riding finished I then picked up Tom Cardy and my Dad for a ride in my new birthday present which was a wake boat! We tried our hand at wake surfing and it turned out to be pretty epic!!

To waken UP the size of the wake:
Get a pump and two big watertanks installed on each side of the stirn. By filling and emtying those tanks you can adjust your “ridehight“ and therefore the wake of the boat even when you’re on the water. For crusing mode just keep your tanks empty to safe fuel and simply move faster and in case of an emergency drain them to keep the boat safe!

to increase your wake you need more ballast / weight and change the prop. not sure to which number of twist in the prop.

Typically if you want a bigger wake, then you need more weight. There are water bladders that you can buy to vary the weight and make sick waves! 🤘🏽great video!

Hey, Sam... first of all happy birthday... and second, if you get more weight on the back of the boat, it'll make a bigger wake... there is these special bags you can put on the inside of the boat that will fill up with water when you want to make a bigger wake, and empty out when you want a more comfortable and faster ride
Trim tabs or adjustable trim if possible for wake 👍🏼

I am so glad you asked Sam! What you need to do is weigh down the back of the boat. The deeper the boat is in the water bigger the wake. Peeps normally use water bags or sand bags to that back end low, don’t go to far though

Lower your tab trims and put more weight in the back of the boat for a bigger wake. To get a wake surf wake big you need a fair amount of weight!!! You should get on the wake board too! Awesome videos 👍👍🍻

Hey Sam, I’ve heard of these wedges you can buy for wakesurfing. They attach via suction cups to the side of the boat so no permanent installation. There’s a couple of different ones but the most popular are the wakesurf edge pro wake shaper and the SWELL. Hope this helps!
