This amazing! I would love to have a shop this big for my projects, but my garage will have to do. You should consider breaking this video done in chapters per phase, but it's also good as is. MDF has always been my go to for cabinet work.

Nice work! I'm very impressed with the accuracy with your router. I don't think I've seen anyone do that and be consistent with the cuts and maintain straight edges!

Nice build and respect, i did exactly the same only built my self a Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Big Blue cabinet, a mk2 cab is my next project.
imagine having this level of woodworking expertise and the facilities at your disposal to use it. anyone who can casually do this by knowing how to do things like those angular cuts, knowing when it makes sense to use a pre-made cutting template, what to even look for tool-wise to cut things like those speaker holes ...these are the same people who say "no! it's easy, trust me" ...then if they eventually go the route of making custom arcades for people, their price goes up-and-up due to the demands on their time, resulting in long waiting lists for each of these talented individuals. "you could *easily* do this!" ...because " _I_ as a talented wood-working individual with all the space and tools to do it _did_ this" ..YES I'm bitter, and YES you remain amazing at what you do😅

I like the idea of a full size MK, but I got the Arcade1up deluxe MKII because it will fit in my room better, I have a few other 1up cabs. I did get KI pro, and I have to build MKII and KI.
I find cabinets that use MDF to be heavier than using the standard ply most of these cabinets were originally made with. Great job, subscribed!
Wow impressive. Did you have an old donor cabinet for the plastic bezel and control deck hinge? I own an original MK2 cabinet and yours looks indistinguishable.

Unfortunately no one reproduces them. Every now and then you can luck up on ebay or arcade boneyard.

Golden age games seem to get most of the reproduction kit love, fair enough their value is typically higher. I wonder if anyone is willing to do cnc kits for our 90’s midway cabs. Awesome work.
Yeah that would be amazing! Like a build kit with art already applied. I'm sure the only issue would be cost of material and labor I'm sure they would be pretty expensive on the sale end

Really love the work but holy fuck what is that button layout!? Even if that's how it was on the OG machines that'd have to change for me! Jesus that's bad.
Pretty sweet! Just nitpicking here, but this cabinet has the wrong speaker setup for MKII (should be 1 mid range and 1 tweeter) and the wrong coin door setup.

@@TheWickedArcade Thank you very much friend, I'm going to see the measurements, I went crazy looking for that case, but nobody sold anything in my country (Argentina) and they just paint the glass black, I want my arcade to look like an original one (Mortal Kombat 3) now The tube I'm using is from a 25-inch television, will it be the same size as the official tube? the one they sell says 25 inches, I'll have to check that well before ordering it

Completely empty its very light weight. You can literally slide it around with one hand empty.

I think there’s a good market for someone with a large vacuform machine to make custom plastic bezels for DIY arcade market
