Withdrawing the fragment of Nihility from its sheath of enamel and indigo, all pigment faded from her body, except the red tears clinging to her face and the petals of the lycoris falling to the earth. "You dare to question my judgment, Emanator? Are you ignorant of the paradise I am willing to create?" Sunday's voice rang a bit clearer as the amalgamation of chords and metal lurched forward to point an accusatory finger at Acheron. "Join me, Raiden Mei. In this new Zion, you will be free of suffering, hunger, loneliness, and fear. You can be with those you have lost in Izumo's perilous journey through the Darkness for all eternity."
"Then I would be running away by dreaming of what could be. They sacrificed themselves, so I might live. To throw it all away is an unforgivable disservice to every soul I watched pass over the shore of Nihility. "...So be it." The overlaid tones of melody morphed back into the voice belonging to 'Dominicus' as a myriad of mechanical puppets descended over the stage in unison. "As the sole star hanging in the sky, I shall burn away the Darkness you pose before me."
