Great video. I had 1970 SS396 (also Turbo 400) back in the day. Bought used in 1974 for $2k with low miles. Car was a beast. Tires never seemed to stop spinning down the track with all that torque.... barely got it into 3rd with that big block before the 1/4 mile was over... Gotta love how the LT1 and the 396 get some nice rubber when shifted up into 2nd... don't see that much... the feel of that slapstick was amazing... Wish I had it back... way more fun to drive than new muscle cars of today, IMO.... being less refined and more raw is my preference anyway...

The 69 has the good looks, the 70 drives a whole lot better ..
