After researching on the Fein site one big distinction is that of the 3 models, 300, 500, 700, only the 700 is brushless.

And the 700 model goes to 19,500 OPM. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

      @@tundrawhisperer4821 That and the difference in oscillation angle (e.g. 2x1.7 = 3.4 degrees for the 500 and 2x2 = 4 degrees for the 700

Great review pal and I own this tool myself. Wish someone would do a side by side tho on all 3 tools with stuff other that the blade connection differences. Motor differences, weight, power etc etc. That's the reason i just went top of the range with my purchase as even Feins website doesn't seem to offer this info that easily.

Hi Lee, thank you for the comment. This is really valuable response and something we are looking to look at moving forward.
Do you fancy sending us a video of your experience with your Fein or similar tool? How are you finding it and what would you make better?

Bought my dad the 350 QSL this past Christmas, and it started sparking and smoking then died this past week(we are remodeling the hous). Looking at getting him this one, hopefully it'll actually last since it says it is for interior house remodeling.

They are meant for industrial use and have a 3 year warranty after registration. Have you contacted Fein for repair or replacement?
I've used the previous 350 model for remodelling of 2 houses plus semi-frequent use in other jobs, and it's running as smoothly as the day I bought it.
I've also bought the AMM 700 AS model recently, because they had a promotion with 6 extra blades and a free battery, which made the Max kit with 18 + 6 blades and battery the same price as all the separate parts and battery without the machine itself.
