The corkscrew looks scary, but fun! Thanks for sharing a FiST on such a legendary track!

The scariest part in the corkscrew is the braking zone right before it if you are in a car with no ABS it is a little tricky, and it’s not a good place to run wide haha but the corkscrew itself is super fun. It’s tricky not to get the right tire to spin on acceleration since the angle of the track is so steep, so squeezing the throttle pedal slowly is the best way to accelerate out of the corkscrew with the Fiesta

You hit that corkscrew fearlessly. Amazing driving, congrats on the record!

Were you having any issues with cooling or very high temps?

Wait, do they make RE71-R tires in 205/40 R17 size? I'm a total noob when it comes to tire fitment.

RE71Rs are a major difference but good lap

So I am assuming that's an Access Port you are using for monitoring. Doyou have the stock tune from COBB loaded? if so, have you tried on of their OTS tunes, and if so how has it affected your track time?

Yup that is the COBB AP, I am running the stock tune here. I was getting higher temps at the last track day with the 91 tune I had loaded. I haven’t done a direct comparison but since the 91 octain tune is all I can run with my configuration, it probably wouldn’t make much of a difference since most of the laptime is coming from the amount of speed that can be carried through the turns. The 91 Octane tune is good for like 3 HP I think. Driver mods are the most effective ones when it comes to laptimes

I think stock includes stock tune as well, damn nice run though

In the description I state that the Cobb AP is used for gauges only. I run the 91 octane “tune” sometimes (even though I can’t feel the difference and the dyno shows that as well) but when I set lap times it’s stock all the way just for this reason. I don’t want people to think I have any advantage when setting my lap times
