Has to be the most poignant Christmas song of them all. Brings me to the edge of tears whenever I hear it and it’s nothing short of scandalous that it is seldom played on the radio during the festive season.

To me this was one of the best Christmas songs written and composed. The Synthesizers are mesmerising and the drum fills really set it off.

It was on a rerun of an old music show on TV the other day and I was cleaning the house and heard it so I rushed over to the TV to see what the artist name was and finally the pieces came together

First time I heard this live was at the Crystal Palace Bowl - CDB came out with just him and the guitar, started this wonderful tune, and sang it - just him and the crowd!

I saw him live in Birmingham UK in the 80s. He was phenomenal.
I joined his live in Taiwan ,about1996.
He came alone,only he and his acoustic guitar on stage.ln the beginning I was a little disappointed coz no band with him😢
but when he started singing,his great voice was full of power and love ❤,filled the whole concert hall.lovely experience😊

Memories of a fantastic evening at the now demolished Cornwall Coliseum, St. Austell, September 1992, CdB in concert. He’s an object of fun by many but this was just a fantastic night and this song sent tingles when he played it, mesmerising!

This may be from the 1984 Munich concert that has never been published on DVD/ BlueRay but on the old VHS cassettes. What a pity, I would have liked to see this show again - but my old worn out tape won't make it anymore.
