I have an 84 dodge ram. i put a new(er now at least) kenwood in it. i dont have android auto, but i have hands free calling, bluetooth and siriusxm.
However, I have a lead on a 95 F250 supercab longbed with a 460 in it. im not driving my dodge right now, so for now im just going to put the kenwood radio in the ford when i get it, but, ive been thinking about buying one of those floating screen headunits.
why? because my brother intends to take it with his friends when he goes on camping trips or kayaking trips. this truck has the 2 bench seats, and theres usually 6-10 people that go with him, and they normally take 3 or 4 cars with them, which he tells me is annoying having to shuttle all of the cars and people between the beginning and end of their kayaking route.

This is not correct. You could have put it in the dash and hidden all those wires. It blocked the windshield and the CarPlay device itself is pretty garbage. I’m not satisfied.

Yeah man, for $36 bucks I wasn’t looking for it to be anything crazy. I could have bought a mount trim kit, but I was more interested in kicking off this testing ‘viral’ tech series while keeping the costs low, so more people could have an idea of what this would look like.
