- Maze Town is the second single sung by A・ZU・NA, a sub-unit under Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. The group consists of Ayumu Uehara, Shizuku Osaka, and Setsuna Yuki. It will be released on June 16, 2021.
The song is written by Morito Yonezawa and Ayato Fujiwara; composed by Morito Yonezawa, Ayato Fujiwara, Ryosuke Saito and PASSiON KiNG; and arranged by Ryosuke Saito, Ayato Fujiwara and PASSiON KiNG.

The charm of azuna is their variety. Due to the different methods of each of the three girls, they came up with the idea of a theme park style subunit, where they can explore different types of music and genres for their songs.
@@YohaNico exactly ! even though it's highly different from like, Dream Land Dream World.. in both songs they were able to cover a theatrical-like song, creating their own world with the crowd the way Shizuku wants it, and also express passion and power in the songe the way Setsuna wants it. the songs are very different but still similar to the individual characters of the unit.

Ayumu's voice is to cute and pure to be in rock 😂. But it is perfectly in the melody of the song and love it. Btw love the voice of the best girl in Nijigasaki, Setsuna.
This is beyond amazing. AZUNA just keeps on giving us such fantastic songs.
i feel like it's likely this will be the only azuna song to have a Cool vibe which is so sad because it really showcases their voices well (particularly setsuna and shizuku but also ayumu to a lesser extent) in way the constant high pitched genki songs aren't capable of doing.
But who knows, maybe there'll be a thrill ride themed azuna song later with a rock vibe too 😂

I mean, it was said that they were going to experiment different genres with AZUNA, so we'll see
Adding to that, A•ZU•NA's whole gimmick is the sort of theatrical nature/vibe of the unit and their songs being a lot more narrative than the other two, so in reality although they're the "smile" unit that gives them a LOT of flexibility in terms of genre

@@StarkeeperLen i see.. i think for the international fans they just seem to immediately put DiverDiva at the top bc their image seems similar to that of BiBi and Guilty Kiss which are the most popular subunits in their respective groups (though music-wise they are very different, and diverdiva is personally my least fav).. and A•Zu•Na seems like a cutesy group on the surface, so people who don't keep up with the sifas story probably don't see the depth behind them.

@@StarkeeperLen DiverDiva has a cool concept and story, it's just their music i'm not really into, it reminds me of the western edm music type that i typically dislike.. also, this may be just me but, i think azuna has the coolest way in expressing each of the members' personality and concept and incorporating it into one song. Both in dream land dream world and maze town, they were able to fit shizuku's concept of theatrical play with the other two's styles, this would allow them to explore more genres and concepts and have variety. I know ayumu just started it out jealousy but her idea actually was actually the most clever one to me tbh

honestly, this sounds more like a setsuna song than anything lol, i love it but setsuna is the only one that fits this song's vibe properly. ayumu and shizuku sound kinda out of place, since both their voices are more clear and light than setsuna, who's arguably the most powerful singer in all of love live

Well the theme of this song is kinda of creepy and dramatic, which isn't setsuna's style. Shizuku is a stage girl and loves drama, so this is song is more suitable for shizuku to be the center. However, ignore the character setting and personalies, I do agree with you that setsuna's voice fits the song better, since other girls voice do not have such powerful voice comparing setsuna.
