If you agree or disagree, he has a right to say what he believes. Everyone has the right of free speech. He is doing it in a non violent way. BTW, I do not agree with him at all! When you work together as a team, it does make it hard when people disagree with one’s views. I would not expect comments from team mates until they quit or retire.

Butker's speech in the Christian school has nothing to do with Butker's playing in football. Leave Travis alone. Travis job in football is doing his job. Not being a spokesman for the ones that want Butker fired and Butker is not going to be fired. He has a job to do in football and as long as he does his job that the coaches need him to do, that is how sports work. If everyone in sports was fired for things they said, we wouldn't have any sports. It is wrong to expect Travis only because he is Taylor's boyfriend to put down Butker. It is not Travis place or job. Travis job is to be the best TE he can be and winning games. Taylor won't even say anything about Butker who she met and got friendly with because she understands it is Butker's opinions. And just like she has opinions such as still feeling Matty is not racist or a misogynist she is entitled to them. Taylor knew Matty better than Swifties. Others know Butker better than strangers. It is really disgusting how people automatically go after anyone because they disagree with him or her. I don't have Butker's thoughts or beliefs but this society allows for different beliefs and not group think. I am also mature enough not to join the bandwagon to demand he be fired. He plays football and I hope he does well in his job.

Harrison rules. Kelce has been great for the cheifs, but it's time to let him go. He will only get worse, and no team needs a liberal talking head and their billionaire gf hogging the spotlight for non football related topics.

In essence telling all the women graduates that they wasted all their time and money. Going back to the old catholic ways. What were those ways ? Shall we talk to the priests about the old catholic ways.

He shouldn’t be fired for speaking on his Catholic beliefs at a commencement service at a Catholic college. That’s insane. We still have free speech in this country. It’s not a requirement in this country to think like a liberal, to support the far left, to support the LGBTQ community, etc. Butker wasn’t speaking on behalf of the Chiefs. He was there to represent himself and his Catholic beliefs. Although I’m not a Catholic, I do agree with what he said in his commencement speech last weekend. I despise creepy Joe Biden and what he has done to this country.

However, many female students did not agree with his ideology. They didn't spend 4 years in college to just be a homemaker as their only option in life. Women in 2024 want options to decide what their life will be and control of what they choose to do with their body.

I don't think Harris should be fired though he should clear this thing about him being truly himself. You cannot proclaim one thing to be righteous and the other is not. It's his belief but he should not say that being some sort of this is similarly evil or unrighteous.

Travis probably does have an opinion, but this is not his reaction because we didn’t hear it come from his lips. A graduation speech is just about inspiring people to go out into the world and make their claim to fame or to make their way in the world, and that can be lots of choices and there’s nothing wrong with him adding that a woman’s role can very well be mother and wife Nothing wrong with that but all the other stuff it just wasn’t the time or place and for him to pull a quote from one of his teammates, girlfriend was totally inappropriate perhaps one of the coaches will speak to him about it, but it doesn’t need to come from Travis. He needs to stay out of it. They did diss Taylor at the roasting and I didn’t hear word come from his mouth and defending her so this is the same thing so just hope that he has the decency to let it go. The less said the better and the quickest this all goes away. And did he say anything? And no, he doesn’t need to use his platform for anything else. That’s what’s wrong. We don’t need to be doing any politics, religion or anything from these platforms because we are alienating a huge portion of the population. That guy had plenty to say, but the commencement speech was not the place to do it. Write an article. Send it out claim it like that, write a book. Speak from different churches like a tour kind of thing. There’s so many directions. This guy can go, but it doesn’t need to come from the Chiefs Kingdom north from any of the players. He might just find himself drafted.
