How about making custom seats for super meteor 650....the stock seats are way too uncomfortable for long distances and the touring seatoffered by royal enfield are mad ugly almost making the bike look like Bajaj avenger...a seat similar to the one showcased here for super meteor would be amazing

That black portion will not obstruct your view at all. You don't look through the windshield at that angle at all, your viewing area is the glass section or above the windshield.
@@Dude_Virus Well even if little, it will keep the rider from seeing what's right in font of him, especially when it's raised to the highest on the highway. My point is they could've made the windshield without that black part, it's unnecessary.
@@eddieroyal2020 It actually does not, Himalyan is not a low sitting bike that you would be viewing from inside the windshield especially on a highway. In slow moving city traffic maybe but that also if you have to see what's next to your front wheel. However in slow moving traffic the windshield will be in the lowest position to provide air flow. There are many Harley cruisers which come with a blacked out windshield exactly like what this one is and it doesn't cause a problem because you don't look through the lower part of the windshield on a highway. Yes I agree they could have made a non blacked out variant also, maybe they will if one requests.

That visor adjustment mechanism is very poorly designed. In a crash, there is a possibility that the sharp-ish lever can literally cause puncture wounds. Same thing with those chopper like footpegs to stretch one's legs. Looks like a cycle pedal. Again hazardous in a crash and the rider triangle is compromised. That heel shifter can potentially cause the rider's leg to get stuck and cause injuries. Poor and hazardous designs. I'd stay away from these products.

I am really disappointed with all of the designs. I have seen your designs for sm650 and was considering some of them for my sm650 but these I won’t even discuss about with anyone. Why AeeDea why ? The windscreen will block view That adjustment lvrs are hazardous and looks out of place . That highway foot peg is the worst Accesories I have ever seen in my life for any adv tourer. And hazardous number as well. Really a hanging iron rod ? How can your designer even think like that ? Aren’t they riders ? I clicked the video with expectations. Even though not high but at least some. Sigh I don’t know but how many will prefer the heal gear shifter ? On of road and stand and ride position it’s gonna be terrible Accesories Back rest is ok but doesn’t go either look and design of the motorcycle. Old Himalayan designs probably was a little boxy but new one is more curvey. Isn’t it ? I am sure you can do much better.
You either are a troll or someone who doesn't know riding if you think that the windshield will block your view. Personally using that design heel shifter on another Adv bike, it doesn't block your feet at all, be it standing or sitting. And FYI, the highway footpegs from Aeedea are being bought for bikes much better and expensive than what this Himalyan is, that too globally. So looks like several folks over the world have better taste and viewpoint.

Heel shifter is a good idea! Do make heel shifter for RE Shotgun 650 too??
As i observed the ideas are very good but i don't find it in good finishing as per now,
Please invest in a good design engineer. Products have function, form isn't convincing to go ahead for a purchase.

The wind shield seems like a death trap as the black portion will obstruct the rider's vision.. how can the rider be safe while riding blind?
