Weird seeing these two wrestle in WWE. I remember in early 93 at one point Savage, Flair, Luger were all there at the same time. Then a couple of weeks later Hogan came back, but Flair left for WCW. Within a couple of years all 4 were in WCW.
@@yusufg.1281, cheating without having the ref seeing it is totally brilliant. It gets the job done, and the bandit who does it walks away with the larger share of money.
Why bring your wife in a locker room full of half naked testosteroned men??? Same happened Marc Mero and Sable. Ric rude was smart not to bring his wife and kids into this dark world.
Just IMHO, the Savage outfit of old with the macho man trucks was his best ever. Was he trying to cover up (his own perception) of being somewhat out of shape by wearing the shirt during his matches at this time?
Maybe? I saw a big difference in machos physique from 1991 to 1992, just compare wrestlemania 7 and 8. By 1992 he had slowed down tremendously, he was not the same
I'm not gonna lie, OSW has ruined Lex for me, but in a good way. His constant noise wasn't as noticed back in the day, but now it's all I hear during his matches lol
Lex was always ten times better as a heel, even if the Narcissist gimmick wasn't very creative. Thankfully his patented scream selling on both offense and defense was in full effect here, even when Randy merely kicked out of a pin attempt. 😂
@@chesterlewis2981 Luger would never reach main event status in the WWF his biggest achievement was slamming Yokozuna and his most high profile match was at WM w/ British Bulldog against... I don't remember. Those weird Berzerker twins maybe?
Oh my god, Luger yelling anytime he gives or receives a hit,is absurdly hilarious 😆
Exactly.
Brings back old memories Thank you

Right, I remember all of that playing out
That strange theme of when he was a bad guy in the WWF.
The ref doesn’t get enough credit
This was the best gimmick for him! He's The Narcissist! ❤️👏💪
@@creativeartist83 He was a "heal" as a heel! 😆
Vince should have never made him a face. Luger was awesome with this gimmick.
Macho rocking the original slim Jim fit
The Narcissist character was Luger in real life. Same goes for Savage, he lived the character 24/7. Savage really believed he was The Macho Man.
That close line choke from inside the ring to the outside of the ring is so BADASS by 'Savage! I call it 'The Savage close line'!
The whole plate in the arm was such a great idea
Classic WWF.
Luger theme is amazing!
Both would eventually becone future nWo members.
Oh yeah in WCW
They were in the Wolfpac together.
I feel like I graduated school whenever I hear Macho man theme.
😂
Weird having no commentators
Two and a half weeks later Lex Luger was a babyface.
When he swung at the ref 😂
OOOOOOHHHHHHH YYYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH....MACHO MADNESS❤
Almost 3 weeks before Luger's face turn.
Fast forward to WCW World War 3 1995
Feeling nostalgic this brings back so many memories I loved macho man ooooohhhhh yeaaaaaah❤
Thing in common between these 2 legends is that each of them had a long term relationship with the first lady of wrestling Miss Elizabeth
Macho man was married to the woman, luger was just banging her and couldn't protect her, not even close
Luger should have been a bigger card than he was played his whole career
The battle for Liz
MachoMan😢❤
Great match! Both stars could be total heels. I was glad someone was pinned. Dirty? Clean? Either way is good.
Agreed. I was expecting a count out or dq.

Why did Savage go away from the trunks. His later outfits didn’t seem to cut it.
Only if Macho man knew what would transpire in Lex's house with Ms. ELIZABETH, he wouldn't have pulled his punches.

After everything that happened with Elizabeth these guys were actually on pretty good terms

Lol when he hit him with the forearm the noise he made was like it was explosive 😂
Don't believe the Mach jobbed to Lex.
I think it was filmed at the old Captial Center in Landover MD. The fans have Redskin caps.
Ohhh yeaaaaaaaaaaa
Mr. Steroids himself
Crazy how i forgot they started to midcard balding savage eh

The Narcissist gimmick was great. Turn those mirrors into selfie sticks and it was psychic.
Most of the match is over before they start
When lex luger was on steroids
No commentators? Was that common in the WWF at that time?
hmm.... great observation.
Most likely a house show
Macho man picked a bad time to take a nap and got pinned by the sexy muscle hunk yes
Lex luger refusing to put the arm pad.
I wonder why the Macho Man never used the song “Macho Man” by the Village People?
Probably because its a gay band
@@bathombre9739 Good point!
'Intercontinental 'Savage' was way better!
Macho King was my favourite
That was also the coolest fucking gimmick ever! The very best 'King'! More should have come from that era! 'Kingdom of the Madness'!👑@@187ilius
That was kind of an upset.
You’re absolutely right Lex Luger at this time was no champion at all barely into the WWF and he beats an already legend Macho man at the time 🤦🏽♂️
@@chesterlewis2981 Luger would never reach main event status in the WWF his biggest achievement was slamming Yokozuna and his most high profile match was at WM w/ British Bulldog against... I don't remember. Those weird Berzerker twins maybe?
bit too small to be called the macho man
The narcissist ❤
Luger sucking wind and overselling as usual.
I felt like Randy "Macho Man" Savage every time I graduated from school.
Lmao, hiw can you graduate from high school more than once...
@@ValiantWrestling high school, college, dental school...
In reality , Vince owes Lex a world title belt
Come on , you know it's true

I don't remember this!
