As a kid I always loved going Pizza Hut. they used to have a program called Book It. If you completed homework book reports you got rewarded with a small personal pan pizza and on top of that I would play the arcade games when I was done. Life was good.
Yes! That was my main motivation to read books back in the day lol. Pizza Hut needs to bring back the Red Roof restaurants with the video games.

This was the best item at pizza hut and I became addicted. I was ordering it twice a week. Why would they get rid of it? I don't understand. Since they have cut it out of thier menu I have had pizza hut like once, and wasn't impressed. The sauce MADE this pizza. Bring it back.
We heard so many plane noises because the planes were JEALOUS of ReviewBrah's pizza. I'm surprised they didn't start crashing down in his yard one by one trying to get a slice.

I plan on buying this tonight for dinner. ReviewBrah is a mega influencer and I predict superstardom in his future.
We at the stores even do some R&D ourselves. For example, the thin crusts....they can be stuffed. Also you can make double decker thins. Make one thin crust pizza, whatever you want, then place another thing crust on top of it and add whatever toppings. You could also just do the first layer as cheese then the top as a supreme and have an "all stuffed crust" implying that the stuffed is not limited to just the end of the slice. We get stoned and creative in times of slow business.
If he approves it's good enough for me.

If you’re ever in the Detroit area. You need to try Buddy’s Pizza, Cloverleaf Pizza or Louie’s Pizza. Those are the big three Detroit style Pizza is the originals, I believe they’re all related to some degree or another in origin. Been around forever. My favorite pizza hands-down.

Reviewbrah, you're too young to remember, but in the late 70s/early 80s, Pizza Hut had a Taco Pizza that was very good. I would love to see them bring this back.

After I saw your review, I went and got one for myself. The pizza hut Detroit style pizza, chose a simple cheese and sauce one. I love it. I honestly prefer this type of pizza, sauce over the cheese is so good. The crust is delicious too.

Pizza Hut’s quality control practices for the past year have definitely improved for the better, their pizza/food items have never tasted better, HANDS DOWN. I don’t know if it’s due to covid, or food delivery competition (probably both) but every time we’ve ordered from them it’s absolute PERFECTION, and delicious beyond belief. 🥰 SoCal Pizza Hut 👍👏🏻

Can confirm. Same in Toronto, Canada.
Worked at Pizza Hut and Dominos. Pizza hut's dough is little frozen disks soaked in canola oil. Dominos gets fresh never frozen dough and uses butter. Pizza Hut has very lenient cleanliness when it comes to cleaning as well. Dominos is a better business and has way fresher ingredients. I can't eat at Pizza Hut anymore after what I have seen there.
Might have to try them again, they had gone down hill for several years, even got as bad as Dominos!
Use to like their pizza back in the 1970's and 1980's....

I was shocked to see it rereleased and I even had it the day it came back. Now I’m really hoping for The Edge to come back! I loved that seasoning and thin crust!! If the Detroit came back I’m hoping it will too… and I can’t believe it had already been gone for 7 or 8 months!

Wisconsin brick cheese is traditional for Detroit-style pizza. I wonder if Pizza Hut bothers to get it. Would I notice the difference from the usual mix of pizza cheeses?

I rarely even consider the ads I get in my mailbox, but when I saw this month's Pizza Hut ad that told me they were bringing the Detroit-Style pizza back, AND That it was actually customizable this time, I audibly gasped. I LOVE this pizza. My only wish is that I could add more sauce on top and make it closer to a Chicago-style.
Also, it's nice to get these kinds of pizzas outside their respective cities and areas where they might otherwise be unavailable. If they want to try a Chicago-Style next, I don't think I'd be mad about it.

Genuinely love buddy’s, it definitely deserves more recognition but I wouldn’t doubt it being a Michigan thing only.

we recently got a Buddy's in my town and the quality fell far short from the original Detroit Buddy's 🙁 I'm sticking with Jet's plus, it's cheaper

Here in Iceland they just closed my local Pizza Hut. Used to love popping in there for lunch when I was at the mall but I did notice they were unusually quiet every single time despite doing great pizza.

I got one last night and was impressed. It tasted like the Pizza Hut I grew up with and it didn’t taste bland like the usual pizza.
I would recommend it. Granted it still Pizza Hut, but it’s good for sure.

I've eaten at subways in different states, got the shits.... hell checked out subway in my own area, and its hit and miss.
Same thing has happened to me with KFC.. Hardee's in the same area..
It sucks when you go to spend money thinking your going to get a certain quality, & then getting screwed over.

I saw the thumbnail and decided I would order it without watching the video first. I watched your review after eating it and I would have to agree with everything you said, this pizza is awesome!
What I love about this one is how easy it is to bite into, which I prefer a bit more than LC DEEP DEEP Dish. The only thing I dislike is the cupped pepperoni but that's my personal distaste for those, plus you can remove them. Overall it's really good and has a good flavor balance.

As someone previously from Detroit, the best examples of true Detroit pizza are Buddy's and Cloverleaf (the original on Gratiot). If anyone is ever in the area go try those out. The crust, the sauce, I really really miss it.

Buddy's and Cloverleaf are good and they have their minor differences. Jet's has been around (est in Sterling Hts, Mi) for about 40 years or so and they are franchising out of state. When I moved from the state to Chicagoland, Jet's came shortly after. I moved to Milwaukee about a year and a half ago, and there's a Jet's franchise a mile from my place. Best pizza here.
