Welcome to some more onboard footage from our Nurburgring trackday back in October 2019.
For this video, Alex gives the keys to his Clio 172 track car to Matt for a lap of the 'Ring and decides to ride along as passenger, but quickly regrets his decision! Matt's savage speed and spectacular driving style are too much for Alex to handle...

Clio RS 172 Specs:
Intake - Ramair induction kit
Exhaust - decat, custom stainless catback
Front suspension - BC DS coilovers with 3.5 degrees negative camber (adjustable top mounts, camber bolts)
Rear suspension - BC DS 'coilovers', rear axle shim plates (slight rear toe-out)
Front Brakes - Ferodo DS3000 pads, Brembo HC plain disks, braided brake lines
Rear Brakes - Pagid pro race pads, Brembo HC plain disks, braided brake lines
Tyres - Dunlop Direzza dz03g 195/50/15
Interior - rear cage, perspex front windows, fully stripped
IG - / camberandcombustion

I wonder what we'd see if there was a G-Force sensor attached to the passenger's head. A pretty good shake, but look more like concussion curbs, with a stiff ride.
Was jostled around pretty good, especially on the carousels!
Have they found CTE in NASCAR drivers who've crash, before, but I wonder about this!

Not only was that a great display of driving and pushing that Clio to it's limits, but it was also just a brilliant display of scaring your passenger shitless, hahah, loved it.

Now thats how to drive a french car, i use to love my V Reg GTI-6 in china blue but was never lucky enough to try it out on the track, but i sure use to get the tyres screeching in the corners on the B roads and my mate had a 205 with a GTI-6 engine one of the first in the South West in Miami blue a real sleeper.

Pretty cool driving! I believe that if you are a little bit more gentle at the start of the throttle application you may be able to get a tad bit less wheel spin, but I might be wrong on that one, it's difficult to judge from the video. Anyway cool stuff! (Edit: Typo)

oh shit man seeing you lift off oversteer into that corner @ 6:03 makes me shiver so hard. search for daihatsu cuore nurburgring on youtube, me and a friend were SO close to rolling over on that corner because of lift off oversteer. you'll see in the video LOL. great video as always, always a treat to watch them. can't wait for good weather season so you'll be recording more hopefully!
