Is it possible to make a box for Focal 165AS Set to be able to use them in a stereo amplifier? They sound great and are reasonably priced.
    4 ohms + 4 ohms en paralelo = 8 ohms

I saw another video from your channel on one Skar Audio 8 inch for your car, ( not sure if you wired it at 2 ohms or 4)
I'm looking for a plan for building 2 separate subwoofer boxes for home audio using that same speaker.
Skar Audio IX-8 D2 8" 300 Watt Max Power Dual 2 Ohm Car Subwoofer. would you get a smoother base at home with 4 ohms? or 8? ( I just ordered 2 a few min ago. I can still change the order.
I'm going to add a car amp to match the power output. Thanks a bunch.

I don't think the ohms matter, it's how low you can get it to play (Hz). You can get skars to work if the right enclosure is made for the subs in a home audio set up.

@@FranksCaliWoodSpecialty do you by any chance have a plan for the Skar audio DVC 2 ohms wired to 4 ohms. ( since most home receivers can't handle anything beyong 4 ohms). I'm using a spare receiver as an amp to power the 2 subwoofers, instead of buying a subwoofer amp. I did a small test by using my subwoofer output on my main receiver out to the CD input on the second receiver (which is now an amp) 140 watts per channel RMS.
the only thing I'm missing is a plan for the
box. would you consider coming up with a plan? either for using two 8-inch subs. or one 8-inch sub for home use.
BTW. the spare receiver is doing a far better job than the Dayton Audio SPA250 amp plate. Thanks again.

@Sam Harley I don't have one for that specific home audio set up, but you can quickly come up with one online. There are a few sites that specialize on this.
Eventually I'll build a new enclosure for my home audio system.

Thanks for the question. I've played at nearly full blast for a solid 5 to 6 hours before I started noticing the battery drain.
