What's your experience climbing Mt Kinabalu? 👇

No worries, you have until 2pm cut-off time to arrive at Pendant Hut to qualify for via Ferrata routes. I have done the Low's Peak Circuit without prior booking. You can just walk in to the Pendant Hut and sign yourself up given the pre-mentioned pre-requisite. Cheers!

Yes but on the summit morning you have to get to KM7 checkpoint by 630am for Low's Peak which is quite a rush for beginners

Great video but one minor flaw is that Mt Kinabalu is not the highest mountain in SEA, physical geography wise it would be 2nd as it is shorter than hkkabo razi(if u eliminate nearby peaks out of technicality that they are not 100% in geographical SEA) and 3rd tallest political geography wise as puncak jaya in indonesian paupa new guinea is taller.

We've looked this up, the reason behind the tallest mountain claim is that they consider papua new guinea as Oceania and Himalayan regions as Central Asia, not South East Asia. Even tho both countries (Myanmar and Indonesia) are in SEA, the regions of the tallest mountain are not counted as being in SEA.

@@MillennialFinanceMalaysia This technicality is only clearly applied to Indonesian new guinea hence why I seperated it into physical and political geography. Hkkabo Razi still technically sits on the SEA geographic region, hence why many new descriptions of kinabalu states it as the highest in the malaysian penisular but its all still up for debate currently, though recent years the educated consensus has gone to hkkabo razi as the tallest in SEA. If all technicalities were removed then kinabalu is not even in the top 20.
