- Here's how I made a kids obstacle course out of some pool noodles, scrap wood, spray paint, PVC pipe and a few other things! The only costs were the purchase of about 9 pool noodles and some cans of paint. The scrap wood, pvc pipe and other props were just things I had on hand and decided to use. I hope this inspires you to make an obstacle course for your kiddos:)

It's 11: PM. and I just came in from my tiny shop. After a long day, you have put a warm & happy smile on my face to rest with. A significant and very rare occurrence I assure you. Thank you & well done family man.
+Rag Tie thanks RT! You just put a smile on my face too! Thank you for the nice comment and I hope your shop time was productive and enjoyable:)
Joe
Joe, what a fantastic video. Children are the future of the world and it is wonderful to see them outside and having a great time. You truly are No.1 dad. Best Wishes.
+UK Tony Thanks so much Tony! It was fun and I hope to keep making more for her in the future. I think it's important the kids work out more than just their thumbs... as so many are prone to do nowadays;) ... plus, balance and coordination don't run strong in my genetics, so I'm trying to build her motor skills early :)
Joe
Nice job love it
Fun project, the little friends seem to love it!
+Scrap wood City Thanks SWC! Yes, they did... and I might have even played on it too;)
Joe
Pretty cool... We got to see both of our Arizona-based princesses... both are getting so big
+Randy Rought Thanks Uncle Randy! yes... growing too fast! Daddy wants my baby to stay at the age where she still thinks I'm cool;)
Just goes to show that spending $100 an hr for a bouncie house is so not worth it. This is the coolest party attraction I have seen in a long while and it was made from scraps and the heart!!!
Keep rocking Joe!!!
So fun! This is a great idea for a multi-age/skill group of children.
+Blackberry Hideout Yes! I'm hoping to build upon it for years to come!
The kiddos are going to get a lot of mileage out of it. Super good job - thanks for posting
+JRC Homestead Texas yes they are! ...I'm wanting them to build more than their thumb muscles...lol:)
Joe
A good idea for the summer. Have a nice weekend
+Jan-Roar Bernhardsen Thanks JRB!
Joe

Joe
Great job Joe! What a creative way to entertain a bunch of kids for a few bucks worth of lumber and paint! 👍😀
+longbowdon Thanks so much Don! (btw... did the swarm take yet?)
Joe
Nope, but I got them.👍😀 I ended up capturing them the next morning by dropping the swarm into one of my langstroth hive boxes. Forgot my smoker and sustained a few stings but overall it was sucess😀
How did I miss this jewel!!!! Very creative daddy!!!!
Thanks WTB! They really seemed to love it! and we actually still have it up as my daughter likes to play on the balancebeams alot!

+chevy6299 Thanks Chevy!
Joe
Great stuff! I wanna play on the course! Of course, I definitely do not fit on it! Need to build an adult sized one now! (= Cheers!
+Canadian Sasquatch haha... trust me, I don't fit either... but I might have played on it a bit too..lol (225lbs and the balance beams are still holding;)
Hehehehe always have to test drive before letting the real kids play... Safety and such (;
👍👍👍
fun!
+Cactus! workshop Thanks CW!
joe
Very nice! I would be afraid that the kids could fall and get impaled on those dowels sticking up at the hurdles
thanks Helmet! so long as the noodles stay on they'll be fine. But maybe I'll replace the dowels with some rubber tubing or something:) thanks for watching!
If you are worried abut it, maybe try attaching some elastic straps to the tops of the timber supports which you can slide the noodles into.
That. Is. Awesome.
I guess my invitation must've gotten lost in the mail. ;^)
+Michael Stoddard haha... I could've sworn it got in the mail;) But we'll just have to make sure it makes it in the mail for next year! ...the obstacle course should have updates by then and be even more fun!
Whats up? where have you gone, we miss you :-)
Out of idea for videos? make some lye ash soap for hands and machine-wash :-)
We believe in you !!!
+Core On Crack haha... I actually have 3 videos that are all 'almost done'... just been caught up with family stuff and work.... BUT, I should have a video out by tomorrow on how I'm making some garden bed hoops... stay tuned:)
And regarding ideas...lol... my list of projects keeps growing.... it's just a matter of what I can do with the time I have. But there should be several more soon:)
Joe
Your dog can use most of this as training
