I'm going to visit the Oceanview and Pala Mines area soon. I'm really hoping to find some kunzite. It is such a beautiful gemstone, but is really hard to find at jewelry stores, unless you go to those big expensive ones downtown I guess. And I always see kunzite jewelry online at super jacked up prices. So to find one and bring one home would be rewarding!

I felt sorry for the crystal that was yanked from its home and then attacked by a knife, poor thing..
do you have that same compassion towards humans ?
Why dig into the crystal pocket with power tools....Stupid, just breaking the crystals.
Some day there will be a Save the Gems movement where mining will be demonized (further?) because the crystals are being ripped from their earthly family environments and being denied the comfort of all their other brother and sister and mommy and daddy crystals. You watch.
