- ▶︎ ➡️ The USD Aeon skates were announced in February 2015 to be released in November of the same year in both 60mm and 72mm sizes. They are completely unique among other aggressive skates on the market. In general, I had lots of good things to say about them, but in my opinion, even with the changes made over the years, not everything is perfect.

I love my USD aeons..for me the best all-round skate. I tried after a 17 years brake much different skates , but I must say the aeons I like the most because back in the days i was riding flat on the Salomun st and the Roces 5th Element and this skates fits great in the "flat" legacy.. also the frame of the aeon is awesome with the proper wheel set-up 👍 thank you @Ricardo Lino for your great work and great content ❤ cheers 🙌

Nice video. Elliot from Sliqx is one of my locals and I’ve got one of the first sets of Sliqx when he was working out the shape. He thinks you have one of the older versions that was thicker than the current ones.

That's the problem. We as skaters are left to solve the Aeon's sliding problem. USD didn't seem to care. Thank goodness for Sliqx, but even with Sliqx my Aeons slid way slower than my stock SL's, 5th Elements, and 909's.
Thank you for the lessons. You are the best when it comes to clarity and safety. I learn quickly and it comes with falls:) yesterday I landed on my tailbone. I got up and did another hour. I feel ok, it hurts a little and I am not sure if I should take a break and heal for a day or two or it is ok to go back out. I just ordered butt pads. Yeah, I am a girl and it is not going to look flattering but I do not care as long as I can do stuff. So, my question is how do you recover from a minor injuries and when it is ok to continue riding, and when to pack up and go home? I am not talking about serious injuries at first sight, that clearly require professional medical attention. I tried to look for rollerblading related injuries and most of the videos are compilations of horrific falls and sad stories of people who had to give up due to an injury. It is good to be aware of those things, but they are not helping in any other way.

Perhaps you can help me in some way persuade USD/Poweslrslide to produce Aeons for ppl with size 13-14/47-48 feet? The Aeon is my favorite style aggressive skate but tragically my foot is 1 size too large to wear them; 30cm/300mm and 12cm/120mm wide. How might I be able to convince them to invest in a larger mold production? If they would produce them, I would buy the 60s in solid black, the Takeshi’s and the ones you’re using in this video.

Are royales slow on Aeons? My main skate used to be oxygens, and I remember backslides felt slower and more controlled than my THEMs nowadays.

Painted boot ?! I almost bought a pair because of Feinberg, glad I didn't, painted boot look like crap after 3 sessions.
I have a pair of USD80's but I find them to be WAY too heavy, not a big fan of them :(
Within the next couple of months they will have the sliqz for the negative on site as well I've already asked😂😂😂😂

Am I the only one who literally has no idea what the stickiness issue people are having is about??? Been on aeons a few years now and they slide just fine 🤷♂️

It`s still the slowest, most sticky skate on the market and for a grinderblading boot, that`s a no no.
When their new indent find them out xtremely slow.. but once they start getting older specially for alleyoop tricks I felt it a lot.. but on groove tricks do you feel it too? This SLIQX souls really make a difference …
why not apply wax or teflon to the plate?

Price, everyone whinges at £38 a pair, it’ll be more like £100-150 a pair in Teflon.
seriously, I don`t care about money. I want a product that works and Aeons obviously don`t. If Matthias wants 500 for a skate that`s doing what it`s supposed to, he can have my money. Even K2 managed to have teflon injected souls, that`s no rocket sciene.
