Se vale aqui de desabafo, infelizmente a cena do patins street no Brasil vem decaído mais e mais a cada ano, poucos campeonatos, poucos patrocínios, lojas com itens básicos esgotados...por exemplo, é praticamente impossível encontrar uma roda anti-rocker com espaço para rolamento por aqui e se tentar importar, vai sair 4x o valor original. São muitas as barreiras para se praticar o esporte no Brasil e infelizmente muita gente acaba desistindo.

Love your videos, but man, if the car had to swerve off the road off a hilly narrow road, it could’ve killed both the lady and the man in the car. There were so many cars on the road and watching this puts all the fans who try to do the same in danger. At least with a bicycle, they are more visible and usually grouped together VS a few human bodies hunched over on a board or on skates, all moving at different speeds. No glorifying any of this.

What about the low profile soft boots that are used by speed inline skaters?

Ricardo, I've been watching your channel since early this year. I was an inliner and boarder, as we called ourselves, from back in the early 90s. I don't often comment. I feel the guys that were there when this incident happened are probably watching your channel. To everyone that was there, I'm sincerely grateful and happy all of you made it through that situation with very minor injuries. I never tried downhill because of the dangers. You guys are great. Which skate is faster the soft or hard one

I have a question, but first I want to explain my experience so far. I learned to ice skate, I have raised (but not suuuper raised) stiff fake leather skates. I'm still a beginner but not a total novice, I have a feel for the basics now. I always did well with not falling backwards. I hate the restriction on my ankle. In the long run I really want optimal control and flexibility. It seems I have a good feel for the dangers and all the support feels restricting to me, even as a beginner. In the long run I really want low cut soft shoe flat quads and soft shoe inline skates which cover the ankle but are still soft, maybe hard on the sides somehow but soft for the backward and forward movement for sure. I want to feel the soft shoe all around and have the freedom to tighten it and loosen it wherever I want. I found exactly these types of skates online and they're quite cheap used! Here is my concern - although I think I do quite well with not falling backwards, I feel like you just need to fall back hard once to break a bone or something. I don't want any serious injuries like that. Could I put some type of insole, maybe diy, and glue it or something, just to raise the back a little bit, like one centimeter or less? Is that risky for a low cut boot? Does anyone have experience with that and how to secure the insole well?

I've rollerbladed since I was in middle school (32 now) on and off for my whole life but nobody ever actually taught me any of this. I recently got back into it and I was really curious what the trick to it actually is. Great video! And I wanted to say that when you first atarted skating forward, I always think of that motion like you're throwing your weight forward. I have a really hard time stopping, using the brake, and going backwards. I hope to finally master those skills!

Would never do this on a public road especially with that much traffic. You not only put yourself in immense danger but also completely innocent motorists that have no clue you are speeding downhill. Really irresponsible.

Hill bombing is so stupid

A week ago I crashed due to lack of signage warning about a steep hill and sharp turns on an asphalt bike trail. Got covered in scratches and wounds. even had a concussion. i’m perfectly fine the CT scans came back normal.

Ricardo man the other day i have a crash on an small down hill and i wos locky i have all the protective gear also the crash pants and i only get some scraches but i have to keep the skating in my last week to the minimum and get some rest becaous of the scrash wish is not a bad thin ri? best of luck to you and i am wating those vidios of down hill 🤘🤘🤘

I never wear them but with clean socks and clean feet, and they don't smell but, could this technique be used for rollers with non-removable liner? Could I just throw them in the freezer? Won´t that affect the bearings? Hey, great video, thanks!

Hi I saw your video and bought a cheap pair of inline skates. Just by following the steps you mentioned I could move comfortably within 2 days with just 2 hours of practice per day. Thank you very much. I feel very confident now.

I did try 42.5, it did actually fit, usally im a size 43-44. It was a dream to see a pair of K2 redline 125 irl after watching this video on repeat over a deckage.

For me the M12 always fit very tight in the width, but now I have the RL1 liner and it looks like a Tardis I have all the space I need. and can move better and it is sturdier. I don't know how, but it drives great. I ordered a Tnec frame so far still riding on anti rocker on the Roces frames, certainly a lot of fun

Hi Ricardo I personally made several mistakes when starting out on inline skates. The first was that you have to train on a flat surface. I started on a bit of an incline with an elevation. Another was an inappropriate push. When a person learns it wrong, he does it wrong for a long time. My next misstep was speed. Seeing your videos when you're going fast is very motivating, but I've learned that I need to start riding slower. Mainly because of the surfaces. Driving in our small town, where in front of every apartment building there are different tiles, asphalt, concrete, pieces of branches, rockeries, is completely different than, for example, on the cyclo asphalt in Germany, or even in your place in Saint Petersburg. Also the fact that if someone wants to take this sport seriously, they shouldn't start with soft boot skates. That's how I started. A mistake. I should have gone to buy more expensive hard boot skates right away. About 150 euros and more. Protectors are also important. Seeing how you and others like you are doing without protectors can mislead beginners. Even if a person has protectors and falls, he can also fall on his knuckles. Previous mistakes cost me both broken wrists. That's why there are so many new skates for sale in bazaars. Allegedly due to lack of time or the size of the shoe 😄😄😄.. Nevertheless, I continue on, watching your videos, but if I could turn back time like this: 1. Hard boot 2. Protectors 3. Push training. 4. Power stop. 5 jumps 6. Back skating... What brand do you recommend for a beginner?

I'm a beginner for like the third time after having started and stopped so many times. You threw me off with the cold and hot weather traction. Usually hot weather means more grip and cold is less. You said it's the opposite. Was that incorrect or is rollerblading different than normal?
