Latest Technology Rescues: Vedic Manuscripts - Prof. PR Mukund and Dr. Anand Gopalan

About the Talk:
In this session of Indic Talks organised by the Centre for Indic Studies, Indus University, Prof. PR Mukund and Dr. Anand Gopalan explore the history of archiving and knowledge preservation in India. They trace the evolution of archiving methods from ancient times to the digital age and introduce 3D printing technology, emphasising the significance of plastics in this context, drawing parallels with traditional palm leaves used for manuscripts. The presentation highlights the efforts of Taraprakashana, a not-for-profit trust, dedicated to preserving and disseminating Vedic knowledge. Tara Prakashana has successfully preserved over 3300 manuscripts in 16 years using multi-spectral imaging technology.
About the Speakers:
Prof. PR Mukund: Prof. P R Mukund is an educator, researcher and entrepreneur. He also started the Foundation for the Preservation of Knowledge in Penfield - New York that focuses on Preservation and Dissemination of Vedic Knowledge.
Dr. Anand Gopalan: Dr Anand Gopalan is Velodyne Lidar’s Chief Executive Officer. He is a seasoned semiconductor executive with experience building and leading worldwide engineering organizations for the development of products in consumer, networking and enterprise domains. Dr Anand holds a BE degree in Electronics from Mumbai University as well as an MS degree and PhD from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Microsystems Engineering.

If you don't believe we need physical copies, you aren't old enough to have your doctor die & your new doctor dismiss an ailment that took 7 years and 4 Big City American Hospital Specialists to diagnose, 6 years of Physical Therapy, and ongoing exercise to maintain forv30 years that now, post-op and no gym for 8 months, requires the same treatment we know already worked, but the new doctor has no record and labels you "noncompliant" for refusing to undergo the entire process - including high radiation imaging - all over again. [Go find a Vayida doctor - one look at my tongue, she said, "Your problem is in both your neck and upper thoracic. Thankful you seeked out this treatment which works and been proven. I spent 35 years as an RN working mostly in ICU, CCU, and noninvasive cardiology. Have seen first hand the non cures American doctors offer. Medicines with horrible side effects. Cures that kilk. Know of a child who "got cured of cancer," on to pass from the side effects of the raidiation. It burned the skin, thus allowing fluids to leak out of the body. Peace love and light sent your way.
