The thing i love so much about Vietnamese culture is how important family is. Plus the food is amazing and the women are soooo beautiful!!! Can't wait to go back.
You just like the women because you know marrying a vietnamese woman you are marrying her family.
I was so confused when I heard people calling this nem ran instead of cha gio when I visited Vietnam a couple years ago. Thank you for solving this mystery for me. My mind is at peace again.
Haha there are many different words in North and South of Vietnam, I'll make a video about it :))
Very nice. Thank you from Brighton UK !
Fried Rolls W/Pork Looks So Tasty
So good!!! 😊
Thanks for filling up our foreign friends with super rich Vietnam culture. Cheers!
My pleasure!
You omitted the most important factor for successfully frying these types of rolls made from wetted rice paper: the frying temperature and time, but mostly the temperature.
that was cute! thanks 😁🤍
This clip is so much fun to watch! thanks cháu!
Thank you for watching :)
Hey V…
This reminds me when I busted my grandma in Italy and her and her sister.both in their 80s cooked for us

you deserve more subscribers, keep up the good work!
I love Nem with my Bun cha, so good. Sometimes I enjoy shrimp mix with pork in my Nem, mmm delicious 🤤
Wow, that looks delicious! So many flavors in one roll. I hope I can find some in Little Saigon here.
Awesome recipe..
it's pretty interesting when you speak with your "Grandma" with the northern accent but when you were in Ho Chi Minh City, your accent changed to Southern accent....very cute
I have a really hard time understanding the northern accent
Good job for Girl to change it!

It's so good! Thanks for watching!
You guys are making me 🤤. I am from the South but I love what you guys were eating 😀. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for watching!
Hello beautiful, thanks for all the great videos. Keep it going!
Glad you like it! Thank you!
@@WhatThePho you are not welcome back to USA
Aw, the grandma dresses exactly like my maternal grandmother. And her gestures also resemble so much Hanoi style, especially when she said "Vâng ạ" to you to stress emotion. I miss my grandmother ❤️

So glad to see a video of a Vietnamese cook using Vietnamese rice paper ((Bánh Tráng) and not the Chinese spring roll or Chinese wonton wrapper to make Vietnamese egg rolls.
Some cooks use the Chinese spring wrapper to make so-called Vietnamese egg rolls.
Chinese roll wrapper is way too coarse, is way too thick compared to Vietnamese rice paper (Bánh Tráng). The Chinese wrapper makes Vietnamese egg roll taste like the oily Chinese roll --- ew.
Em ơi ! You always make me smile !
yes those vietnamese fried pork rolls are good i went to a vietnamese restaurant in my country very nice,i like it
Yum!
Yummy fried rolls👍👍👍luv it
Wow that look good, ok i can get with that good stuff

Nice video, xem chủ yếu thích nghe bạn phát âm tiếng anh rất tự nhiên, dễ nghe là chính. :)
Yummy... just like how mommy makes it 🤤😍👍
My kids prefer eating seafood NEM that means we used seafood such as shrimp or cuttlefish or some fish to make Nem. It is so delicious! Hope you can introduce it to your foreign friends.
Oh yeah! I love those too!

Thank you for a great video. By the way, how did your grandma make the fish sauce from Ha Noi? Is this the same fish sauce the same for Bu´n chả Ha` Nội? thanks
Yes it was! But it was a bit lighter, not too salty like Bun cha sauce

What is shallot in vietnamese ??
In the south it's pronounced "cha yaw" not "cha zaw" The G becomes a Y sound not a Z sound. No matter how it's pronounced, it is delicious. Ngon Qua!
Not "ngon quá" it should be "ngon wua' " 😂 jff

Thats called spring roll lady! :))))))) in Ho Chi Minh city we called them "cha gio'' which identically is the same as NEM, but yeah! just call 'em spring rolls.

🤤
no vãi :D
North peoples called this Nom ?
It should be called Vietnamese egg rolls. Spring rolls are similar to egg rolls but they are not fried and they are ready to eat; all ingredients inside rice papers are well cooked. Remember that Chinese egg rolls do not have meat, only vegetables.
Actually, Chinese egg rolls have meat inside, just the veggie ones don't have meat
😘😘😘
Isn’t it called spring rolls?
You can call it fried spring rolls since spring rolls can be mistaken with the clear paper one that has shrimp wrapped in it
@@WhatThePho well people usually mistake it with the Chinese buffet vegetable spring rolls
