I haven't been to many prides , my first gay pub was Pink Elephant in Bristol 1982, followed by dancing at Oasis nightclub up the Christmas steps
Pride events can be hit and miss, Nigel. We don't agree with paying a fortune though, we think Pride should be for everyone 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈

Hi Nbv! We saw a video of the storm on Walk on the Wild Side, it looked Incredible 🌩️🌩️🌩️. We visited the Hungarian restaurant last weekend, the video is coming out on Sunday. We're not familiar with the 🥪 sandwich shop but we'll look out for it on our next visit 👍🤩🦀

Hi Stephen! The street party was a big hit 🎯 hit. It was held on the day after Blackpool Pride 🏳️🌈 but we think Trades might have had something arranged for actual Pride Day, but we may be wrong 😕

We are proud to live in a country that no longer punishes us for being who we are and legally recognises that love is love after generations have fought for the basic human rights that were always given to other members of our nation ❤️. What are you proud of, Joanne? 🤔

Waste of tax payers money
It wasn't funded by the council it was funded privately with help from the local community , sponsors and the pubs of Blackpool. However, it brought a lot of money into the local economy, so the tax man would have benefited 👍 Thanks for your comment
