- After the highs of last weeks daily race C things have returned somewhat to normal as we visit Watkins Glen in Gr4 machinery...how will this one unfold...find out inside.

Glad you find them useful....good luck on the journey to DR B...remember dont worry about speed to much, concentrate on consistency and eliminating mistakes like track limits pens etc will help you so much in lower splits!!
Just avoid contact, dont divebomb, avoid divebombers and you should get to SR S fast easily, for DR i always set myself the goal of TOP 8 and when i reached B it moved to TOP 5 and 3

True but still a decent enough race....at least we know now after Suzuka and Spa that PD have this in there locker and after the praise both races received surely its going to be a regular thing.

Great track for sure but maybe a little overused...love to have rain on it.

The race seems so short after last weeks Spa. I found even the supra can last to the end if you go +5 on the BB. I haven't actually tried pitting mid race yet. If theres no cars ahead of me or too far ahead or theyre faster than me i stay out until lap 8. Always a risk if starting near the front you can end up in traffic when pitting too soon
It certainly did feel short compared to Spa but was nice to have a race every 30 mins....think there's enough people playing to have both options avaliable per week with longer race maybe running every 3 hours rather than hourly.
Race A is full dr/sr active this week too 👀. I think PD are testing the water with dailys at mo

Looks fun as well Tskuba 8 laps in the Roadster might be the MVP this week!!
That caught me out, got punted early and spent most of the race trying a few different things without chasing a result, DR lowered.

Ha ha, I went the no tyre change option and pitted end of lap 8 and accidently hit change tyres, lost a podium, oh well, good guide.
Tbf you have to hit the option so quickly on this track so easy to make a mistake.

@WanderFeetChronicles why? I imagine that it is exactly for the same reason that you comment. To show that it matters to me, the effort was worthwhile and that I care and that I am appreciative of the time and effort put into helping the community. If you don't mind, perhaps you would mind clarifying why it is you choose to comment if different to mine and why you feel the need to attempt to ridicule someone that quite clearly enjoys the content, are you truly that insecure and needy. I think probably not, try to be a better person, I am sure that it will lead to a more relaxed life.

Buffs and needs usually amount to a change of less than 1% to a car so the impact on laptime is usually only a couple of tenths.

Tbf tyrewear is a pretty big factor in most real racing over 30 mins in length and this is simulating a 80-90 minute race.
The issue really is number of laps. If it was 10 laps it prob force every car to change tyres, 11 definitely would. At 11 laps you make every car usable as well because every car can do 6 laps without tyrewear becoming an issue(less than 50% wear)so they do a 5/6 split and the better on tyres cars advantage is reduced to just having a bit more flexibility on strategy.
An option to make it a Mandatory tyre change rather than pitstop would be a handy thing for these races.
