Thank, your video is very useful, and I am using Bharatfiber, and same thing happen router provided by BSNL brand name is Uniway, was not worked properly disconnect my internet at every 10min. But in my city BSNL service is good and when I book complaint they replace my router with syro tech. And now I have seamless service.

I have two setup of Syrotech onu + router (Tplink c60 dual band) from two different ISP. One is BSNL and one is Railwire. Since I opted for 100 mbps speed so full fledge single band router is of no use, as they can give max 40-50 mbps speed. You need a good dual band router to get 100 mpbs speed. SO its a very good idea to go for 800-900 INR ONU and get any good dual band router upto 1500 to 2000 INR, so overall in around 3000 INR your setup get completed.

Do you have any specific products which have the phone line in the ONT? I was looking forward to connecting a tp link using an onu for my bsnl fiber

BSNL customer ko apna ont/onu select krneka option deta hai. Jio airtel aisa nahi krte. Our jyadatar syrotech aur optilink use krte hai aur wo ab stable hai. Aur customer service bhi achhi hai.

I have a bsnl ftth connection mughe 6000 ka dual band router ki prise bta rha tha service vendor to maine online 4000 ka mangwa ke khud hi lga liya prize of cable and other equipment mila ke 2500 iske upar ki cost hai (telephone not included). If u r planning on going for bsnl ftth and are confused about actual prise then i will tell u the reality of things simply call on 1500 from a bsnl sim only bsnl service center pick up ask them about the plan they will tell you that 100 meter or so cable free hai, and there is no installation charge whatsoever, phone ka i am not sure free hai ya self purchased but maintenance is free itna confirm hai. Their is a big scam going on between bsnl and its vendors call center kuch alag hi scheme btayega aur vendor kich alag hi. Now call center is speaking for pan india but vendors ki prices har state/district me alag alag hai. I contacted the SDO of my district and made him talk to the bsnl customer service and the vendor who was providing service for bsnl in my district was also sitting in the SDO office with me and the SDO had no clue what bsnl customer service was saying such is the state of things. I am sure there is corruption involved in making contracts between bsnl and their vendor service provider who are installing bsnl ftth on behalf of bsnl what else could be the explanation between the contradictions in the scheme that are being told by the bsnl customer service, the SDO and the vendors. The truth of this nuisance needs to surface you should make a video on this for public good. I have empowered everyone reading this comment to know the real scheme and prises of just call on 1500 from bsnl sim and ask! Dont be fooled.

Maine abhi BSNL ka Fiber connection liya hai or mai apna purana DBC ka router he use kar rha hun jo mujhe mere purane internet provider se mila tha but maine notice kiya ki meri download usage is around 137 GB last month which is fine but upload usage is around 2200GB even though i use for youtube streaming and general office work and now, even though i have 1000GB FUP plan still it is not sufficient. would you pls suggest where could be the issue due to which i'm having high upload usage?

In my area BSNL FTTH was available and had to take that connection. I had purchased NetLink GPON DUAL BAND WIFI ONT modem as advised by BSNL. I understand from the video that there isn't many players in this arena. However is there any option to strengthen the Wifi signal from the Netlink modem?

I haven't observed speed fluctuations to be honest. Their after sales services are worst. They informed blatantly in WhatsApp chat that they do not provide after sales service if routers are bought from their website.

Weise all in one ONU/ONT bhi aata hai, jispe EPON/GPON dono support karta usually XPON ONU ke nam se mil jayega.
And usually almost sab ONU routing mode and DHCP support karta hai. bs wifi ka kam nahi hoga pr free mei router ka kam ho jayega.

Optlilink syrotech se better hai agar wifi chalana ho. Warna lan cable le lo cat6 ya cat7 agar pc mein connect krna ho. Speed ekdum dhansu aayegi. Wifi se phone accha chalta hai syrotech ka but pc mein connection problem hoti hain. ( I am using syrotech btw)

My ISP says they're using xPON OLT that means they can connect to both GPON and EPON ONU. I already have a 3 year old EPON ONU with me, would it make any difference if they gave me a new GPON ONU?
I asked them and they said no it won't make any difference. They're probably saying this to save money by not giving me a new ONU, but can someone explain the situation here?
At least for the initial years of fiber connectivity in India, use a media converter if possible, because GPON and EPON based routers are not that stable as they should be.
