Discover the extraordinary tale of Bertram Sheldrake, a British convert to Islam, who embarked on a remarkable journey to China and found himself at the heart of a unique historical episode, crowned as the "Pickle King of Islamistan."
In the early 20th century, amidst the geopolitical chess game involving the Qing Dynasty, the British Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and the Soviet Union, Sheldrake's life took an unexpected turn.
This video delves into the complex backdrop of rebellion and empire in Xinjiang, where the struggle for independence and identity led the Uyghur people of the First East Turkestan Republic to extend an unusual offer to a British Muslim.
Follow Sheldrake's adventures from London to the heart of Asia, his efforts to support the Muslim community, and the intriguing story of his coronation in Beijing.
Witness how international politics, cultural diplomacy, and personal faith intertwined in the life of a man who sought to bridge worlds but found himself a symbol in the tumultuous history of Xinjiang. - Zábava
great content! may Allah ﷻ have mercy upon him and help the Muslims in Xinjiang and China 🤲🏻 ameen.
Yes, help the muslim of XinJiang and China to never be again the victim of Western propaganda slanders and lies.
I wrote a column about Khalid Sheldrake for the last issue of my school's journal.
BROTHER OMAR, YOUR VIDEOS ARE INVALUBLE. MAY ALLAH TA'ALA HELP YOU IN YOUR QUEST TO PRESENT FORGOTTEN ISLAMIC HISTORY. AMEEN YA RABBAL ALAMEEN.
Thank you Brother's Omar for the info. God bless you ❤
If I were to be called the pickle king I'd dump the crown right away!

Good boy.
Such a tragedy, ma man travelled all the way from Britain for no reason.
he gave lectures on islam along the way in all those different countries. Alhamdulillah
@@muslimresponse103 I mean yeah, but, he didnt get what he came for you know? I mean imagine his excitement when he was told that he would become a king, just to see that he wouldn't become one.
@@LRA07 he never asked to be king. they offered and basically begged him to so that they could get recognition for there country. he was just trying to do them a favour by helping out fellow Muslims.
He is trying to say that khalid was very humble so it wasnt that big of a hurt to him that he didnt became king@@LRA07
@@LRA07I think he is trying to say that, I can be wrong
0:14 Jurchens did unite before Nurhaci. Aguda united Jurchens in 1115.
According to Wikipedia, the first mosque he established in London is currently used by the Ahmadiyya community.
Was he an Orthodox/Sunni Muslim or an Ahmadi?
The mosque was originally under Sunni administration.

I hope so, Brother Irfan
He could be a British agent, like Lawrence of Arabia and many more in 18th, 19th century. Britain funded many new movements in muslim world for dividing Muslims and placing agents. E.g. Muslim Brotherhood, Ahmadiyya, some allege Salafis too ....
@@muhammadadeel8639you're forgetting king john of england asked for the law of Muhammad in 1200s
The situation you are in today is not caused by yourself. You made a choice as an ancestor a long time ago. Thousands of years later, you will face the consequences. Your choices today will affect people thousands of years from now. This is what the people of Xinjiang are facing. dilemma
Same is true with thr decentant of the Zionist today... They arr getting ridiculed left right and center and commiting geno side in Gaza... Wonder what did their ancrester did? 😅
The people of Xinjiang are from India and have a very tense relationship with the Turks of Tibet. They have chosen to form an alliance with China and have been doing so for thousands of years. People in Xinjiang now repay their debts because of their ancestors’ choice. Tibet has also chosen to form an alliance with China for thousands of years. They are all repaying their debts. The Turks made the right choice, and today they are enjoying the dividends of their ancestors
And yet today we see there's high speed railway, airports and buzzling tourisim and agriculture in Xinjiang and Tibet... Cant say its the same for the Turks... 😅
Xinjiang was part of Han dynasty. That was way before Islam became a religion.
I don't understand, you said the Turks are living well, but why when i travelled to Xinjiang and Tibet, they looked more futuristic and traditional at the same time compared to Turkey. I gotta say, i have to show huge respect to China for preserving old writing and language systems for all ethnic groups. In Mongolia, you no longer see them practicing traditional writing, only using alphabets, while in Inner Mongolia, traditional Mongolian writing are still common, so is the Manchus and Yi people, the government preserved all their languages and launched many universities that teaches individual languages, I wanted to go to those universities in hopes to preserve their language and learn new ones too.
This is why the bay'ah done by the people of medina to the prophet was done in secrecy at first until prophet Muhammad link Allah over him and save could reach medina.
Looked like a spy

British guy and the Arab muslims. Just like what they did to the Turks.
sounds like Jordan as well
@@ibn_klingschor Saudi....
The current situation in the United States was not created by today's Americans. It was the choice made by American ancestors hundreds of years ago, which allowed today's Americans to enjoy the dividends.
Israelistan? It's in its death throes... 34 trillion in debt, stretched military and p**sed off/divided populace.
Like you said... All dividends enjoyed by the americans today comes attached with a massivr debts to pay by decendents tomorrow.😅😅..
Is this guy for real ? ...😅😅

Yes, frer Xinjiang from western propaganda and lies.! No CiA backed colour revolution!😅😅
But in reality, majority Uyghur of Xinjiang dont want to be free from China because they realized, if they separated from China then USA+British will turn Xinjiang become another ISIS DAESH mega base just like happened in Libya.
Xinjiang was part of China. What are you talking about .
Nowadays Xinjiang Uyghur majorities agreed to be participating under China, cry hard you CIA, MI6, ISIS and DAESH sympathizer. 😭😭😭😭

control over a few town does not make one a kingdom...
Doesn’t controlling Washington count as controlling the United States? They controlled the capital of Xinjiang. Doesn’t that count as controlling Xinjiang? It’s just because they sided with Britain and they were on the wrong team. Britain was the biggest loser in World War II and lost a lot. Given the status of the United States today, it has been reduced to an ordinary country. If these people had formed an alliance with the Soviet Union, Xinjiang would have become independent long ago. There is no difference between several Central Asian countries and Xinjiang. The only reason why they became independent countries is to form an alliance with the Soviet Union. If they If we form an alliance with Britain, then these countries will not exist today and will be divided between Russia and China.
Any territory can become a kingdom. The map shown in the video was way exaggerated than the one irl but the vid isn't trying to rewrite history.

And no controlling the capital didn’t mean they won. Look at japan who took Chinese capital nanjing but Chinese didn’t give up. Controlling nanjing didn’t mean they controlled China
