    Got the Dart screen after watching this, very good. Needed an updated one as my bike is 2023, Piranha version.
    It does vibrate a fair bit and does distract me a bit as the chrome bars are reflected in the screen
    Got some LSL Flat Track Matt Black bars ones so that might help
    Have tried inserting rubber into certain places to hopefully reduce the vibration, but not ridden yet
    Other option is to add another bracket near the top
    Keep up the good work
    The more I ride my bike and customise it to my desires & ergos the more I love it.

  • @Gambo916

    Another great WM vid...thanks for taking the effort to make these for us.
    Personally I'd suggest considering a future mod to be a remap to get the most performance potential out of the intake and exhaust mods you've already made. Maybe a PowerTronic ECU and map switch?
    As another viewer has already mentioned.......I too would suggest a tubeless conversion (Outex). I'd also fit a set of Avon Roadriders over the psuedo-Pirellis.
    Lastly....if you're feeling really flush and wonga was no object........a Revelry Cycles 865cc big bore kit/CNC big valve head/performance cam.

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  Před 3 lety +2

      Some great suggestions here. I think a Powertronic with Quickshifter is high-up on the list. OE rubber will be gone very soon too. I had never considered a tubeless conversion, but maybe I should. I'll check it out. Thanks.

    • @Gambo916
      @Gambo916 Před 3 lety

      @@WildlifeMoto Very interesting to hear you are thinking of a quickshifter. I'm all for improving performance, but I not convinced a bike of this type warrants one IMHO, as it's in no way a race rep or a track day wannabe. If you were looking to improve lap times by fractions of a second, fair enough.....but adding (an aftermarket) one to a road bike is not worth the potential for unreliability I feel, as it's well documented that they can be quite hard on gearboxes. Pro's v Con's, so to speak.
      However it would be very interesting to hear of your findings if you did decide to go ahead and fit one.

    A couple viewers mentioned converting to *tubeless* - which gives quicker steering, less unsprung mass (more control over bumps),
    less spinning mass (faster acceleration and braking), gentler blowouts, and easier patching.
    For running tubeless, though, Woody's Wheel Works, maker of the Outex conversion kit, recommends that the rims have *safety beads* .
    Presumably, they keep the tire bead in place against the inside of the rim if an under-inflated tire hits a large bump hard. But Woody's
    says that it's hard to predict which model of bike has OEM rims with safety beads, and they haven't checked the Interceptor 650 to be sure.

    Great vid! So what happened with the adjustable foot pegs from Tec? Did they fit, where they uncomfortable? What's the story?

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  Před 3 lety

      They didn’t fit my bike. Apparently they are fine on most bikes, but there are some very small inconsistencies in the assembly manufacturing. This might be subtle changes in the casting or the thickness of the paint. Upshot is, they are too tight a fit, meaning they don’t spring back properly. I could file the inside of the assembly but I don’t want to do that.

      @@hrishikeshoulkar5526 The taillamp assembly I'm speaking of is by BAAK. They are French and as per their website they do ship to India. However, they are in the premium range. This exact assembly as in the video was 230-235 Euros last I checked. Which is about Rs 20000 - 22000. Personally I would buy it if I could afford it... Problem is that I can't afford to shell that much out. For slightly more I could get the YSS cartridges which I would prioritise over the tail.

      @SuperBlizzard77 Před 3 lety

      @@hrishikeshoulkar5526 I'm not very sure about tail bags but just look for Indian made and they must be relatively less costly. However, there is always a difference between inexpensive and cheap. Motorcycle luggage does take some extra money as unlike a backpack and/or handheld luggage they need to provide a proper base, extra resistance to elements and additional stuff for fastening a bag to a bike. You can try a brand called Dirtsack though. They are available on Bikester. Also check other sites like Bikenbiker. 😊
