Thanks for watching FNG..
@@HeartHustlePrinting Subscribe. Great Job man. Good stuff
This video was so detailed and informative I love it! I like how you also reached out to your customers about the koozies; that's what you call great cudtomer service. It's channels like this that are greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks you for comment. Its people like you who keep me MOTIVATED to keep doing this. Also if you ever have a question feel free to email me or message me on Instagram. KEEP PRESSIN!!
Great video, I could see purchasing a Sawgrass ($1,500) if you have money flowing in but have started with a budget printer $200 (8.5x11) to get my bearing straight and drum up interest. Knowing it's limitations and lowering my expectations on what it can do and what to expect from it.
Great video, I just picked up a sawgrass sg400 and cheap heat press from eBay. I can't wait to get started. Thank you for sharing with all your videos.
Awesome!! Thanks for watching..
I sooooo needed this glue trick! Thank you!!!
Thanks for being straight up about the foam ones, I just brought a bunch and they just flatten out compared to neoprene.
Glad to know these videos are still helping!! Thanks for watching!
@@HeartHustlePrinting definitely. I have a question about those foam ones.. did you figure out a trick no not melt them? Reduce temp? I don't want to waste them, maybe I can use them as a promo item
Bro! You are killing it, and inspiring me to start working on my own channel!
Thanks Kye. You should start
Good stuff dude you have come a long way, keep grinding
Thanks!! Im gonna keep at it...
Great video! What do you clean the loctite temp spray nozzel with? Having trouble with the spray leaving spray glue spots.
Great video, those look stunning. Great colors
Thanks Abe
Great info! Can you tell me why you use the adhesive spray instead of tape? Does it leave any residue on the item?
Looks like you was in the 84th Engineers. I was a 1SG in HHC, Never Daunted!
Yep!! Was in the FSC.... Never Daunted 1SG!!!
@@HeartHustlePrinting cool brother love the videos. Keep pressing
Essayons!
Nice work as always!!
......With the kingsville shirt ! Repping that 361
Always!! Good to see my videos making it home.
To get the sides done wrap it all around and tape
Great work!
Thanks TahoeBay
You can get it at Michaels and get 20 or 50 % off by using the coupon. Thanks for all the great information.
Barbarba get what? Your welcome and thanks for watching.
Adhesive Spray.
This was awesome. Thank You!
No problem.Thanks for watching.
Looks like the seems were sewn with cotton as the stitching would not capture dye.
I'll be cutting and sewing my own for All Over Printing. Otherwise I'll just get the color needed and print the design in the middle.
Check out Tahoe Bay can Coolers on Amazon. I don't know if their stitch is polyester though as I haven't tested them out, but as for price, they're the best I've found without having to buy bulk.
good video bro
Thanks bro
NICE LIKE IT THANK YOU FOR THE INFO
Thanks for watching. Levite
@@HeartHustlePrinting "Always Ready!" to support a fellow serviceman thank you for dropping the knowledge of the printer. Still have the Ricoh SG3110bnw original printer before SG400 came out.
if you use regular paper its best to use paper that is not recycled i use 60lb offset williamsburg it works much better then transfer paper
Thanks for info Matt
@@HeartHustlePrinting have you thought about getting a 3d heatpress i think that would help print around the koozies better
@@matthewgrider33 I haven't but gonna look into it. Thanks
Very well done, what is the temp and time you press and do you press at medium pressure.? Thanks bro keep up the awesome job.
Hey Joe watched your koozie video, nice job. What part of Texas are you from?
Also, what do you charge for a double sided koozie? Please reach out to me for graphics.
BTW, I'm in San Antonio/Helotes, TX
Hey sam, Im from Corpus Christi area but living in Georgia... I have a guy that does my graphics if I need it... Thanks though. For koozies it all depends on colors
Coo video.. thinking about getting the smaller one. Can you press custom metal license plates. And. Whats the price you charge per dozen on those koozies?
Oh yeah goto Conde.com and search sublimation product. Theirs tons of stuff to do. License plates, bottle openers, mugs. Tons of stuff. Thanks for watching and KEEP PRESSIN!!!
Great video! Had to sub!
Awesome!!! Thanks for Sub Johnny. There are plenty more binge watch them all...
.
KEEP PRESSIN!!
I am getting "ghosting" on my koozies. Is there a simple fix for this? I've heard I could be lifting my swing-away press to quickly. Any suggestions? I am using tack spray also. Thanks
Did you figure it out!? I’ve tried taping, taping some more, adhesive spray, pre-heating, not pre-heating, putting books on top to flatten before, more pressure, less pressure…. I can’t figure it out!
@@carriehagen88 Still haven’t figured out the perfect solution however… It may have a lot to do with how much ink is on the paper. When you get ghosting it is because there is residual ink or extra ink on your sublimation paper. Possibly reducing the amount of ink might help. Instead of the absolute highest quality print, which puts down more ink on your page, go with a slightly lesser quality print and that will reduce the ink saturation. That seems to work the best for me and the results are just as good.
Where did you buy the koozies?
Hello Joe how are you have a question do you make for people plastisol logos
Have you thought about using a "form" (hard board or wood) to insert into the koozie, press one side, flip over, roll the seam over a bit, then press the other side so you don't have the white on the seams? Would that work? I've seen it done with socks
I haven't tryed it yet. I have doe it with sock also. Ill have to try next time.
I made a jig for the Koozies and the edges came out good. Check them out on my IG page.
@@HeartHustlePrinting I checked Instagram, but didn't see the jig. I need to make 250 koozies and would love to see what you came up with. Thanks for the video.
I was considering buying the SG800. Is it true the colors and image dont fade away after washing?
Yeah its true. Colors dye into material so they dont fade.
Hey! loved how detailed this video was :) I am just starting out in sublimation and I made the mistake of getting the foam Koozies can you tell me where you purchased your Koozies?
Thanks for watching. I get mine at JDSINDUSTRIES.COM
@@HeartHustlePrinting Thank you so much! heading to the website right now :)
No problem ANYTIME..
Hello, I am sublimating on neoprene but I’m getting ghosting off the image. Seems my koozie bowls up when press opens. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to prevent ghosting?
Tape them down or us a little bit of tack glue
Same problem and have tried everything from more tape, less tape, adhesive glue, pre-pressing, cooling, flattening with heavy objects, more pressure, less pressure. I cannot seem to get it right
Just came across your video, I'll be tackling sublimating koozies for the first time. Other than lint rolling the koozies before hand, is there any other preping steps before hand? Also, do you find you have any issues with not putting anything inside koozies to keep the inside from sticking or somewhat melting together?
What do you charge per Koozie? And how do you charge in larger quantities
You can print on regular paper but the inks aren't as vibrant
Any complaints from customers when doing full color koozies and having the white seems?
Use a red sharpie on the side. blends in
It does, but dosent look professional.
Yea i guess, I don't know if' I'd want to sell colorful koozies with white seams either so I guess it's preference.
Where do you get your blank kozzies? I am not having much luck finding them at a wholesale price. Thanks
Question?? New to sublimation, for this project with graphics like the front of your Koozi, is it best to use White Koozi oppose to Red? Just wondering why you went with White oppose to red?
Good question Dawn. So hereS the thing with sublimation. If I were to have pressed this image on a red background the colors from the image would have chaged.. Actually you probably wouldn't have even seen the image. Sublimation is best used on white or silver metal. So best if you stay away from dark colors. If you look up sublimation materials they will be in white, silver, some gold, and glass. Hope this helps Dawn. KEEP PRESSIN!!!!
@@HeartHustlePrinting Sorry to follow up. So if a customer orders black koozies, it's better to get the white and print out the black background with?
You have to get white. You cannot sublimate on black.
Nice. What is the name of your pressing machine? Does this work on a Yamamoto Neoprene too? What temp are you using? Thanks in Advance
This is the press I used.
Tusy 5 in1 heat press (12x15): amzn.to/2ZeLXcu
Tusy New 5 in 1 Heat press (15x15): amzn.to/2lm9oCL
To work like this it has to be a sublimation material. 405 for 30 seconds.
I have a sawgrass printer. Do you subscribe to designs they have? Wondering if worth it.
What temperature do u press them and how long? Medium pressure?
Nice did you make a template for the koozies
No Creative Stuido comexwith all the templates..
I am just starting and I made my first 20 koozies. I didn't use the glue. I know why you use it now. In the video you use green label loctite and in the description the link for glue is Elmer's. Is there a reason for the change or is one as good as the other?
Yeah thats what I used. You can pick up at walmart. You can also look up sublimation glue. But there all the same just labeled different.
Where you buy your neoprene koozies ?
Do you have to wait before you press the back side or can you just flip it over and do the other side right away?
You can do it right away bro but their hit. So I Usally get in a rhythm where I do all the front first then the back.
You can use plain printer paper for sublimation, but it won't be as vibrant
oh ok.
sorry but i would have to disagree thats all i use and it works better then transfer paper make sure that you dont get the recycled paper i use williamsburg offset 60 works so much better
@@matthewgrider33 everyone has their own preference. :)
@@matthewgrider33 But I will remember to buy quality paper, if I test it. Thanks
Hey great video ,my neoprene flattened out while sublimating, can you kindly orvide some suggestions as to what settings should i use and is there a specific kind of neoprene i should be getting?
No. There is really no specific type.
Any link for the koozies? lol you have everything else linked but that, unless I missed the link.
JDSINDUSTRIES.COM
Where do you get your Neoprene Koozies for wholesale?
I have a resals account with JDS.
I noticed when I do my koozies I get some "fraying" on the top and bottom edges sometimes. I'm doing 390 for 40 seconds, medium/light pressure. The image is great but the "fraying" is a pain. The koozie kind of sticks to the sublimation paper at the edges and that is when the "fraying" happens, when I peel the paper off. Any suggestions?
What's up Joe I had a question for you can I use that software without having a sawgrass printer?
Sorry bro it wont bc you have to login with user name and password.
Thats so cool how much is that printer?
Little over $1500.00
Heart and Hustle Printing woah that a lot lol
Heart and Hustle Printing plus you got 50 cents ;)
@@FlyValorantFly Thanks Bro
Hello, thanks for this video! I'm a new follower, and I bought the sawgrass sg400 but I don't feel like my images are very vivid, do you have any suggestions for this?
When I print I use the classic color option and get good prints. If you still have problems try a head claening..
@@HeartHustlePrinting thank you so much!
So every time i press koozies they melt together. I have to put paper/cardboard inside them. I have the same printer and that tusy press
I put cardboard in mine. Make sure your using correct temp and time to press.
What brand of paper are you using?
you don't put anything in between the kookie? when I press it goes flat.
No i dont.. Dont use as much pressure?
Hey do you have to use a spray? I see some who do and some who dont. Im new so its confusing
You dont have to. I use it to keep image from moving.
What brand of subli paper did u used brodah? Many thanks.
TexPrintr
What is the best way to avoid ghosting
You just have to remove the image right away on these. But then again it all depends on what you are putting it on.
Where did you get your laptop stand?
amzn.to/2MHEuhP
Damned bro, you need a bigger press. You should be able to print 6 of those at a time. YIKES. Nice vid.
I have the 16x20 next to it and eventually started using it.. Thanks for watching.
Whats the pricing for 100?
We charged $3.00 ea
Oh nice I wanted an idea of the prices THANK-YOU for a reply defenetly subscribing
