So the chance of receiving h1b is not very high? My girlfriend is an F-1 visa international student. If she uses her OPT and work for a company that offers sponsorships, but she doesn't win h1b lottery, she would have to return to her home country when the OPT ends?
Hi, my son has F1 visa mba and the OPT will end in February 2023, his employer agrees to proceed with the h1b visa. Does he ask for the transfer of status or he must leave USA and go through the embassy?

You can’t do that. You need bachelors in the US for top priority compare to people doing masters remember that. You can get it easily if you do bachelors in US.

no. U need to be a speciality worker. At grocery store employee is not a skilled employee

That's the common option when other work visa arrangements aren't available at the end of here OPT.

Both options are possible. He can work with his employer's attorneys for the best guidance.

It's considered illegal for a US employer to accept your payment of the H1B filing fees.
