6" barrel and slide? + Threaded extension.
Kirk Chartier Standard milspec government length 5” barrel, plus whatever the threaded part is, and the slide is of course longer because it goes two inches or so back from the breech.

Me thinks your 1911 needs a bit more gun oil; hence the reason why it wouldn’t go back to battery. Either that, the slide to frame fit a bit too tight. It’s ok for 1911s to rattle just a tad bit. Handsome looking 1911, no doubt, though! 👍🏼
In my experience, a 1911 needs to be wet.
