Man, Todd traumatized and amazed me at the same time with his depiction of the Lizard and Kraven the Hunter after he blew a chunk of his head off on the title page of Spider-man Torment part 4. That series introduced me to Todd and I just marveled at his artwork. I still have issues, 1, 4, 5, 9-12. I've never seen anyone draw the classic yellow and blue Wolverine suit better than Todd. I always preferred the brown until Todd’s version.

What exactly is wrong with current legends? Only complaints I usually see is accessories and the occasional paint.
And pricing. But that's an everything issue at this point.

I knew someone was gonna mention Jim Lee lol. When I was in middle school (early/mid 90s), I had a friend who was a HUGE Jim Lee fan (around the time he was drawing the Uncanny X-men). And I was a McFarlane fan who collected Spawn comics and Amazing Spider-Man comics that McFarlane drew (issues 298 - 328). Me and my friend always used to fight about who's style was the best lol.

He's currently my favorite figure and statue maker. Regardless of how perfect or detailed the figures and statues are, he keeps listening to the fans and keeps taking opportunities to give us great character representations in great costumes, with great variants and at the fastest rate possible.
Plus we keep hearing him talk about how passionate he is for comics and figures and statues as an art form.
Todd needs to draw some Marvel comics again...Spider-Man X-men FF and Avengers even if he draw just five issues for each book

@@nanatsuyo3864For the good PR, for nostalgia, for THE FANS... He's still got a great mind for PR, and it would be the good-will project of the decade, and I'm sure his contract would be heavily favoring him, not Marvel... I think he'd jump on it...just not that many issues and titles.

Hopefully they get the Hasbro license for poseables to be honest. (have well over 100 pieces). Also, I love his passion for what he's doing. He's going into specific details about every individual piece. I am sure he has a hand in almost every item he releases and that shows in the quality

There are a handful of companies that make Marvel action figures. Mafex, SH Figuarts, Revoltech, etc. 🤨 So why does Hasbro having a license block McFarlane having a license to make articulated action figures?
Could be that McFarlane Toys are their biggest competitor within the action figure segment of the toy industry.

Love seeing Todd succeed but hope he doesnt get the action figure license for marvel ever. As much as people complain about legends, his DC line is much more frustrating with random sizes, diapers, and short availability with popular peices.

I would like to see Mcfarlane got the licence to release 7 inch action figures, especially those big muscular characters. Marvel Select is good, but they are really slow to release the new action figures.
Im all about tangible reading , but the statistics says otherwise that comics as of this period of time has 1 foot on solid ground and the other in the grave .

Wow Hasbro has had tough times selling Disney properties lately as the discount stores are overflowing with crappy Star Wars and Marvel toys….Times are gonna get even tougher for Hasbro if McFarlane starts making action figures. Even though they are non articulated figures I can see these being hot sellers. Fans are obsessed with iconic comic book covers by McFarlane and other artist classic covers

I would say the budget was more important than the rating. A Spawn will cost more to make, and a Spawn movie with little Spawn in it will not do well.
