Todd McFarlane, a Canadian-born comic book artist and writer, is best known for his groundbreaking work on Amazing Spider-Man and the creation of Spawn. His dynamic illustrations of Spider-Man in the late 1980s revolutionized the character, and his co-founding of Image Comics in 1992 allowed him to unleash Spawn, a dark and iconic anti-hero. McFarlane's contributions extend beyond comic books, with his company McFarlane Toys producing highly detailed action figures, and his ventures into film production with projects like "Spawn" and "Todd McFarlane's Spawn 350" showcasing his enduring impact on the comic book industry and popular culture.

As soon as Todd came on the screen after you introduced him, a smile stretched wide across my face. It hasn’t left 😂. To see my favorite artist on the channel of my favorite human being in this community is so special. Congratulations don’t even cover this moment for you Dave. I’m happy for you and I’m damn proud as well. This is without a doubt the best interview with Todd I’ve seen. The questions were beyond excellent and it had a level of uniqueness that no interviewer has brought before. Loved every damn second of this. Hearing the man himself say STBT is absolutely legendary. I’ll eat everything up that Todd says but seeing his reaction to everything you showed him that you had was really special. Amazing job to the both of you ❤
So cool to see you achieve this goal! My first job at age 16 was working for a shop Todd co-owned with his brother in law Kim, called Spider’s Web Cards and Comics. The back storage room was packed with large brown paper bags FULL of Todd’s original art from ASM, Hulk, Infinity Inc, etc. I’d pull a bag down and pour over them every lunch break! Each birthday I worked there they’d gift me a page, so I have an Incredible Hulk page and an amazing Infinity Inc splash page. Todd was always so kind putting up with my questions as a young aspiring artist when I’d get to sit next to him at store signings. Thanks for bringing back some great memories!

I started out picking up some random books and ephemera from this funny, no-f*cks-given dude on Whatnot because he wasn’t trying to bs me into buying garbage, to temporarily holding the record for his biggest book sold, to now just showing up to support and see his journey progress (and still pick up some goodies here and there). I’m only about a third of the way through, but I wanted to take a pause and congratulate you on following through on your vision to interview Todd McFarlane! It’s quite entertaining and enlightening so far. I can only imagine how fulfilling that must be. I’ve got an early rise, so I won’t be able finish listening to the rest right now.
