I think its a great thing to catch such a emotinal moment on camera. you show just how much you love your animals and thats a beautiful thing. These animals deserve to be cried for the same way we cry over our dogs and cats when they pass. every life is precocious and you showed that to the world.

But Brian left us doing what he loved so much. He got to live, and travel the world, and educate us. And that’s what was most important to him.
Don’t ever apologize for feeling your feelings. Losing animals is one of the worst losses in life. Love your channel and praying you are feeling much better I know I’m a year late in watching this but I know losing a loved one is always in your heart forever. Sunshine is missed and will always be. After 2 years I had my own albino Burmese too named sunshine because not only was sunshine your favorite but she was mine too. I’m a few years late on seeing this, I hate you to go threw this, but sunshine had a great life with you and your crew.
It broke my heart to hear you say "was it something I did or the travel stressed her out" I wanted to hug you with everything in me. You are an amazing animal care taker it was nothing you did hun. And you are not a baby I would be worse... I know it wasn't something you did or stress it may have been her time to go but had to leave on a good note with being around people and having a amazing day with people and her daddy❤️

I rescue animals as a passion, i don't profit or anything but for pure love for animals. because of this, I know all to well the pain that comes with loss and it isn't fun. It especially sucks when you can't be with the animal as it's passing. Something I always try to do, which can be very painful, is have the animal in my lap being petted and loved til the very end since there isn't anything else you can do and they deserve to know how loved they are til the very end. It hurts but at the same time there is a kind of comfort in knowing you were able to love them til their last breath.

Please never apologise for your emotions, they're what makes you you. The raw emotion that you showed really does portray the love you have for your job and your snakes, especially sunshine. Alot of people don't understand the bond someone gets with their reptile, I saved my little Gizmo 4 years ago, nursed him to health, he was the best damn water dragon I ever saw, was a sweetheart to everyone. Today I found him laying limp, and I never cried so hard. I dont know what happened either, but he lived a great life. Rip Gizmo and Rip to Sunshine, she was a gorgeous snake.

I've been going back and watching some of the more emotional episodes thru the years and this 1 really stood out for me. Brian loves his animals so much it really breaks his heart when he loses one. 💔 just as all of us are heartbroken to be losing Brian. Losing Forest was also a tough one. I sure am going to miss hearing you say you will see us in the next one but no worries Brian we will meet again. God bless.

Snakes are one of the most hated animals and are judged a lot. Seeing how much pain a person will go through seeing one pass is completely amazing. The society today is cruel, ungrateful, and dishonest. To see how much love one person will give to an animal that is hated every which way is amazing. I’m so sorry for you loss prayers sent out! Hey man don't feel bad about crying! My mom always says "to die you only need to be alive" and that also applies for animals. The impact Sunshine did will always endure. The changes it made to the way people think about snakes won't disappear.

At the start it looked all nice and fun, despite he already knew (I mean the video, he was upset on his way too sunshine, but before it was a good showcase of what a nice snake she was), and there is nothing wrong with showing emotions in such a case. If anything, it shows that he really cares about his animals, and that is never a bad thing.

As much as it's not easy to share or to watch, I find it's also important to see this side of animal care, for everyone out there who is learning about beautiful creatures like Sunshine. Please don't apologize for feeling pain and sadness when you lose one of your pets, let alone of of your favourite ones. It's normal to cry and it can also show that side of reality. Please don't apologize for showing the emotions that you're feeling, it goes to show just how much you really loved her. Rest in peace, beautiful Sunshine
