- I last had one of these way back in 1992 when I was 20 on my first trip to New Zealand , it cost $650 back then and was a great car to tour the country (apart from fuel) until it blew a head gasket going up a mountain!
Ever since I’ve owned thousands of classic cars but always wanted another 6/110 more than anything but one never came up when I had enough money to buy one , today , 3 days after coming back from my 7 th trip to NZ I was offered this rather sad looking Auto mk2 1963 and spent most of days life in Jersey so not had a hard life .
She drives well and has a very solid never welded under side , new brakes and a nee oil and filter in the auto box so definitely worth putting a bit of time into to make her look a bit better inside and out .
Both Wolesleys are magnificent cars. I would be hard pressed to choose
Looks a bit caddish with those rostyles.
Love it.
Congratulations on that great old car.
You can’t beat an old wolseley 6/110
l wouldn't care whether it was the 6/110 or the 16/60,,,,,, they are all good with me, power with the 2.9 or economy of the 1.6, both are gorgeous Farina's!
The dark green color and matching upholstery really suit this car, along with those wheels - it would be a shame to paint it red and change the upholstery. Each to their own, but I think it looks unique in dark green, and really suits the body style.
The green is growing on me but would still like a cream two tone though
Miles Schaff? Didn’t think he’d sell that!
Just think of the many thousands of these wrecked on the track...
At least a good 40 percent did I’d say
