No television show ever has nor likely ever will feature such amazing music as Miami Vice. From songs like this to all of Jan Hammer's amazing scoring nothing even comes close to this musical richness.
I remember when I first heard this song my first thought was that it sounded very "Vice-ish" and could be used in an episode of the show. It wasn't long before it was featured in the opening scene of *Yankee Dollar*. Miami Vice was THE best cop show of the 80's and it's still my all-time favorite :>)
