    I would also like to add that one of the reasons Aphrodite shunned Hephaestus was that in many myths, she actually wished to be wed to Ares in the first place, but was forced by Zeus to be with Hephaestus anyway.

    0:00 Wonderful beautiful sea. 😍👍 Aphrodite was born in the world from waters and met Gods on Mount Olympus.🤔 Zeus was thinking.
    0:50 😍🥲👏 He make Aphrodite to marry Hephaestus. Her husband to give his wife beautiful jewels.
    1:45 Alright! Ares The God of War wear helmet and weapon spear like Spartan! This is Sparta! Athena was behind Zeus.
    2:13 Aphrodite look at Ares wear shiny armor. Hephaestus was working and taking relax.
    2:39 Really she was tired of being that lonely and look at Ares was take off his armor.💪 Ares was quite strong when she was staring at him.
    3:16 😍 Ares and Aphrodite are quite having love at night. Next day Helios is on duty. Ares order soldier to guard watchman Aphrodite's room warning him. Hypnos make soldier fell a sleep without being notice.
    4:02 Now is day time Guard watchman had failed him and turning him into a rooster. Helios tell Hephaestus saw everything he saw. He refused to believe but decided to set a trap just in case.
    4:34 😘 He kissed his wife Aphrodite and tell her he got job to do. Now Ares went Aphrodite's bed. They did not know God of Forges had weaved a net so fine it looked invisible having put it on the bed. Now net fell on the couple imprisoning them.
    5:02 And now Hephaestus appear arrive and called the other deities and tell them to look at them like shameful scene. Hermes and Apollo including all citizen of Olympian.😆 They all started to laugh decided to repudiate his wife
    5:44 😃👏 Really that's impressive Ares and Aphrodite had three children Deimos, Phobos and Harmonia.
    🎉👏 Well done. Well done indeed that was great story of Ares and Aphrodite: The Hephaestus Net Greek Mythology in Animated Version. This is totally amazing story of Greek Mythology ever!

    New to Greek mythology but
    0:54, first Zeus didn't try to do her, with his reputation ?
    5:01 Second he married her off and yet there was adultery, so he succeeded at nothing??
    1:22 third, HEP--you're as much to blame; Talk to your wife, not shower her with junk to shut her up
    3:43 4th, never mind Hypno and Electro or whatever their name is, isn't there a Goddess of the moon, so wouldn't they have been spotted anyway?
    Finally, I get she was lonely and Hep was absent, answer for that is:
    you're a Goddess, go help other people as in (get a job/do your job) or start a book club or something

    • @George-Hawthorne
      @George-Hawthorne Před 27 dny +1

      There is a Goddess of the Moon but unlike Helios she isn't a gossip.

    • @wildmen5025
      @wildmen5025 Před 27 dny +2

      1. Zeus has much more self-control than people give Him credit for. He's not some mindless beast.
      2. The point of the marriage was to prevent feuds over who got to marry Her. This technically still worked. Unfortunately, no plan ever works entirely if people don't play along.
      3. You're not necessarily wrong. However, what kind of story would it be if everyone just openly communicated?
      4. There is indeed a Moon Goddess. Her name is Selene. However, as far as I can tell based on the ancient literature, Selene isn't necessarily as all-seeing as Her brother Helios. Why? The Moon has phases so isn't exactly always "present". Or at least that's what I would guess since Helios' ability to see all is because He is literally the bright thing in the sky every day.
      5. You have to understand that as the kind of deity She is, Aphrodite can't just deny Herself passion. When the other Goddesses are depicted modestly, She is depicted proudly nude. She gives Herself to many lovers. She is the mother of all life and Her joy and passion are as boundless as the waters She emerged from. She can't just sublimate who She is. The Gods aren't people like you and me.

      To answer your question, we've had the channel for over 10 years. So, if you've been a subscriber for a while you've seen how it has grown and evolved. When we started with our original comics we didn't have an editor to do the animations, and now we do, so we're taking some of the older videos and making the animated version.
      Why? Because we have to keep up with the times. Older videos won't reach new audience because they're out of date.
      And if you look at our channel you will see that we post stories everyday, and we have been posting videos from japanese, korean, portugues, north american, hindu, sumerian and many other mythologies.

    I applaud Aphrodite because monogamy just doesn’t work in all relationships. Some partners are workaholics and some can’t perform sexually anymore. I think having an open relationship moving forward was the healthiest outcome for this particular story.
